When people see some item sell for a specific price, it gets fixed in their head. If the price was OP then they think they can get just as much spina again. Then the OP item becomes the normal selling price. If only there were a group of people who would farm and sell the items at the proper rates as it was,the players could get used to that price again . Some people just buy stuff at the normal price and sell it for high prices in the market. But well....my comment here is meaningless. People are hellbent on becoming rich and getting gears rather than enjoying the small aspects of the game. Imo, there is no such thing as 'proper rate'. prices always depends on how much people are willing to buy. and with inflation, people have alot of spina to spend. A couple of weeks ago somebody asked me to farm him an Almas xtal. I had five star fortune so I grinded the xtal within the day. Sold it to him for 120m (thinking that Almas is just 80m to 100m added 20m for my service). I realized this was wrong afterwards when I offered another xtal and there were 3 people willing to pay more upto around 180m. Analyzing the situation, I realized that there are alot of rich toons wanting ultimi up but are incapable of grinding Almas solo like Paladins do which is why there is a good amount of demand. Players poor in spina remain poor in spina because they do not understand the economy and/or do not know how to adapt to it. Getting rich is a necessity with the inflation (it is something you need to do to get good gears, and if you allow a few more time, getting rich would be something you need to do in order to get just the NORMAL gears.) If you don't keep up, you might end up with just NS gears in the future or be stuck with old gears and xtals. BTW, people who just buy and sell stuff at rokoko have potential to be good businessmen/entrepreneurs in real life. Reading markets, negotiating with people, knowing what they buy (or do not buy), how much they are willing to spend, what turns people off, how to properly attend to people, what strategies work, etc. They might not realize it but they are getting some sales/marketing experience while playing. Lol the end of the comment made me laugh. Almas xtal is worth a lot now days. So much ultimi around and no almas xtals to upgrade it. Most players still struggle to farm almas. Ushlith is easy money too for a paladin. I just get so bored because its that easy.

In summary, the main reasons why prices go up is because:
- More money being generated in iruna from mob/boss grinds and selling to npc.
- More people joining Iruna every day to generate spina through NPC.
- High demand + little supply = Increase in price (even if the item is old or relatively easy to get).
- More people joining Iruna every day which increases demand for items/gears/xtals etc.
- Players pushing the amount they can sell for.
- Players who are willing to spend high amounts of spina for items drive the overall price up over time.

RMT is what destroys any MMO's economy. Whether you get rich by luck, always farming and getting those high demand & low supply items or you study the market making wise business decisions. The wealth obtained from all that time farming and/or studying the market can be matched or even surpassed by someone who has only played a few weeks if they sell enough google play cards, western union, paypal, etc.

I still dont understand the deal with selling spina for money, like $10 for 100m I think I've seen some offer...to the people that do this, are things just not worth that much where you are? or are things just bad enough that $10 is worth something for you? like for me, for the effort to make that spina to sell just doesnt weigh up...$10 is pocket change when I'm working (still a cripple atm) I dont bother putting my socks on unless I know I'll be pocketing min $200 a day...but then lol I've got it better than the majority of people in my country who are on minimum wage, and I'm an unskilled labourer

Plus government allows companies to have contractual workers (work for 6months) so nobody becomes a regular so the pay is less. So yes, $10 is a good amount of money. I normally farm around 100-200m per day so $10 - $20 for non-working kids to earn is better than some of our workers. And alot of people produce spina faster than me. The only good thing is that our goods are relatively cheap. 24 bottles of beer is only $20 while other countries have around $10 per mug/pint. When I was in singapore cigarrettes were $10 per pack vs my local $1 per pack. This is mostly why expats like to live here because with their wages of even just $5k or 10k per month, they can live here like kings, whereas they live simple lives or even paycheck to paycheck on their native country. So farm 200m spina, get $20 dollars, buy 24 bottles of beer and call it a day. xD

I didn't even care if the xtal dropped or not since it fetches good spina anyway. But after people stopped buying moh, Ushilth does make a better farm with jar and currones. I tried using jar or a couple of currones to farm Almas but it's really unstable unlike when you are with your full gear, so i just decided to forget it and look for other farms. Maybe when i get more levels and better gears I can farm him back with jar and currones and aim for xtals. or maybe just form a party.

(We don't have fair trade like you do) Other goods are cheaper here too compare to Australia I reckon. Whole chicken is slightly over $2. Tbone steak you can get for $10 per kilo (Aussies love to barbecue right?). Although if you do try to have it in a good restaurant here you can still pay over $100 for a steak and a wine.

BTW, I only earn spina this much now because of Knight's Oath since I can kill bosses faster now (I do 30sec cycles in Ushilth with Oath whereas I do 1 minute cycles with Ushilth before with Guardian). I make roughly twice more spina than before.

I think why people prefer to RMT is that people have this attitude of 'Why buy if it's free'. If you can just buy GPC from the stuff you get free from the app. Why shell out money? Rarely do I see people (my fellow Pinoys) who keep the money they get from RMT, they use it to buy either exp/drop subscription/ticket or premium coins. I'd have to agree to one of these posts here. Overpaying is a lot easier now because you can just trade coins for spina. RMT is a lot easier now than before. Blatant, and super annoying.

Also FYI. Manila minimum wage is a little below Php500.00 (15 US?), PHP350.00 for provinces. In before "HOW DO THEY SURVIVE?", the commodities and standard of living is a lot less compared to other nations.

Well in the real world, if there are people willing to buy, there will be people willing to sell. Even highly illegal stuff. It's up to the authorities to control and that determines whether it goes rampant or not.
