Ifrit will consume Ciel's autoskill. well its ok cause ifrit gives 5k dmg to me while ciel mana wave gives 3k only and no dmg to high bosses at all Ciel only gives you neutral magic boost I think and that autoskill. But with ifrit consuming autoskill and you aren't using neutral manawave anymore, then ciel is basically useless. Sooo, just about anything would be better to put ifrit in... Mir Symbol, probably being the best additionals or any MATK gear would help.

Those auto skills from XTAL automatic do it for u. I.e : ifirit trigger fire lance magic attack. as long it magic attack whether it's manual or auto , with spellburst +% u still get the spellburst effect. O.O

False. Sinbad3 s/meme both trigger. Both can trigger at the same time, even if rarely at same time, the both trig at a nice consistant rate Memecoleus isn't an autoskill, but rather an added affect or debuff to the enemy. It just adds the chance to poison the enemy. Not to add any additional attacks/buffs for your character. Different category.

NOC slot with IFIRIT = DAMNNN...! o.O noc trigger spellburst. as the name suggest, "spell"burst. enchanter don't cast spells. Unless it specifically says 'Casted spells' only, then it affects all attack magic coming from the user. Enchanter can make use of Noc also, though the spell burst percentage is still low. Also, Noc was designed to be used by enchanters as well. Magic R-4%, Magic Evasion+3%, Spell Burst+5%, Autoskill+3%. We all know this is mainly an enchanter's department. Now, with added autoskill and chance for the spells to crit, chanters can now raise their dps, Add a rita onto weapon, while having all other gear/xtals pointed to autoskills/matk, and you will have 20% chance to proc a spell burst with the rest of your procs.

How does the spellburst effect work? Do you need to cast spellburst first and then that spellburst+ effects the damage? Or is it a chance of casting spellburst?

Yes, NOC's spellburst affects enchant weapon AND any other magic autoskill you might have.
But I don't use it because it lowers my DPS.
Rita will lower my DPS as well.
When people look at "SpellBurst+5%" and think it is awesome because spell burst grants +50% more damage, then I would say that they are confused because they are not looking at it for what it really is.

True, 5% spellburst sound a lil bit low. But what about 18%? Weapon+RITA+Noc= 18%

With rita the burst rate (rounded) is 20% so it should proc once dealing 22k total (4k+4k+4k+4k+6k) but with dunkelis xtal in another random eqq it would be 22.6k and its much more steady.

True, 5% spellburst sound a lil bit low. But what about 18%? Weapon+RITA+Noc= 18% I think Rita adds 15% on weapon so Noc and Rita gives 20% as stated by Prayers. Anyway, it still ends inferior. You should always look at gears individually (with a few exceptions) because they are independent to each other. Based on the sample you provided above, Noc is inferior to Glory Cloak, you try to fix it by placing Rita on weapon, which is inferior to Gerust. So what you just did is compound 2 inferior gears and hope it will end with superior output. Inferior + Inferior = Superior, it sounds fishy doesn't it? Even if Rita stats was changed to become superior (like Spellburst+90%), it doesn't change the fact that Noc is inferior. You would rather Rita and Glory cloak so you end with Superior + Superior = OP.
