Hi everyone, I just turned my lv 28× adventurer to paladin and I need help on my equipment.
My build is Vit-Dex-Str (all overcap)
I already got all the skills available at my level but, my equip and ai's are trash (adventurer type) because I still don't know what equipment to use.
I plan to be a bow paladin because they said it has nice damage and can tank well with bishop so, I'll ask for a bow paladin equipment and ai's.
Also spina is not a problem. Thank you in advance ^^
Edit: I already read the guides, but it just confused me even more on what equipment to use and I think it's (a bit) outdated

I'll list you an Oath paladin build but I highly recommend you to get a normal Guardian setup first until you're capped, especially with the new skills and special swords coming soon a normal Guardian build will help you cap very quickly, which will in return give you the stat points and skills needed to make an Oath build work with newer bosses.
Weapons: All elemental bows slotted with their respective elemental xtal or if you have a big budget with Sauro 2 xtals inside them Armor: Bellow of Order s Telon for Oath and s Iniliba if you don't need max dmg and want some tankiness Additional: Monty Beret s 15% elemental xtals or Vida (15% elemental xtals if you have Sauro 2 xtals or already bypass a lot of the boss DEF) for oath and normal damage Lucioscudo s Crescent for tanking difficult bosses Special: Adamantite Arrow (slot Telon if you can afford it)
AL: Muscle, Ouvel, Valtia, Vatendeth, Malti/Enina
Like I said though I highly recommend you to get a Guardian set instead.
Weapon: Genius sword s Sauro 2 (upcoming OP special sword) Armor: Bellow of Order s Iniliba, Deceiver up s Crescent for % HP things that are difficult Additional: Monty Beret s Crescent for normal grind/easy bosses Lucioscudo s Crescent for tough things Switch to Sophys Shield s Crescent whenever you need MP Special: Myrica s Douin or Telon
AL: Malti, Vatendeth, Gatekeeper, Halios, Sauro II, Vurushemu (not sure if the boss is out yet and has a different name in EN probably, I didn't do MQ in a long time) Those are the 6 best ones, you can pick whichever you prefer. I would say Vatendeth and Halios is a must-have combo though.

Vurushemu is in next MQ Genius is the normal success sword, the sword from great success is far better than Genius Having all bows is NOT the best way, pallies who want to maximize their damage should mix between elemental bows and elemental swords, there are some sword better than bows is terms of ATK+% Pally Oath is not cheap! very not cheap!

Yazmat If you have Adamantite Arrow s it makes it irrelevant because that way Bow will always outdamage but I agree if you are on a budget you should get things like Kloff Pillar instead of Fire Bow for Fire Element (exception is if you get Wild Ring slot for the swords). Do you have the stats of the great success one because I've never seen it for Genius, you may be mixing it up with the Nio sword recipe. The stats for those two are: Normal success: special sword ATK + 18% MaxHP + 15% skill delay + 1 second damage reflection + 5% Great success: special sword ATK + 23% MaxHP + 20% skill delay + 1.5 seconds damage reflection + 8% Oh and another tip is to get a buff set which centers around getting buffs while you're oathing/before you're oathing to boost your offensive capabilities. I've already mentioned a pretty good one somewhere if you search for it.

Of course you need Wild Ring for your elemental swords, for sure you won't be using Adamantite Arrow with them, you can also use Myrica if you are a VIT build. (dunno which will give more ATK in that case wild ring or myrica). But for sure, I saw many JP blogs lately about Paladin Oath builds recommending mixing both Bows/Adamatite Arrow & Swords/Wild Ring For Genious yes my mistake I was talking about the Nio sword. I do remember seeing the buff gear somewhere I forgot it too

Need a couple good tank set to. Preferably some gear with +rate cut or some rate cut abi to slap on your main tank set. A pally that doesn't know how to tank may as well just become a zero ray hw or sk ninja if op damage is all they are after. (I've been out of the loop a while Yazmat but looking for some good gear to a new pally and Irunian AI met recently. W.trance for sure, maybe litch or deceiver, not sure best reccomendation for add or spec these days though)

Best HP gear coupled with a few rate cut abilities should do the trick. Genius <Sauro II> + Deceiver <HP+20%> + Duel Shield <HP+20%> + Myrica <Douin> This what I will be using (I just need Genius & Sauro II... not cheap) For now I have Wound Trance <Bancho Piton> instead

Edit: btw I also have some Al Crysta that has Rate Cut
