Finished the test and put the results together with my first reply. I used Vampire blow because it is a skill that can use Hide Attack. As it appears, Hide Attack still works even without CRT, but the damage dealt will be much lower than when you have CRT.

Is it possible for sniper to 1shot 3i? all self buffs only, excluding ignition. >> Yes its possible, but it's inefficient and I wouldn't rely on that method. It's because it involves using AR-CF first on 3 mobs and then using the last (one or 2) CF for that 1-shot. If you do this the mobs would have been wiped out and you have to WAIT for the next batch to respawn.
How to ensure that the arrow rain skill always gets max hits on mobs? >>I get the best results while using it at a full distance away from the target.
Is CRT required as main stats for arrow rain and crossfire? >>CRT is required for crossfire. Arrow rain does not crit by itself as it needs Hide Attack. I read somewhere arrow rain needs ATK and Melee for best damage.
Which sniper skill would do the highest damage using hide attack passive skill? >>Crossfire
Is CRT stats required for hide attack? >>I don't think so but I'll test. As far as I know the Hide attack passive only ensures that attacks crit for every first hit.
Edit 2019/1/2: Tested with a Lv19 alt using Dim Sword. I reset all stats in Bailune and tested on Chako. With Hide attack, damage of Vampire Blow is 968. When i entrust the pet with Hide to the hotel, damage became 617. Later I picked up the pet with Hide and then put 64 stats to CRT. Vampire Blow damage became 1131. All those damages were displayed in white font.
Conclusion: Hide Attack still works even without CRT, but the damage dealt will be much lower than when you have CRT.

Made a quick test on my Irogeos and yup, additional attack does proc with HA though rate is low. However the damage by HA was based from the first damage, not the additional attack damage. About veleno, I cannot answer atm because I have not tried it myself to be honest, (also don't have the equip slots to do so T.T) but its effects should proc with HA.

Hello i have question Have you ever try Equipment which have additional attack autoskill? Ex: Irogues? Does it still proc Hidden Arrow? Cuz maybe my eye wrong(>~>)/ but saw in 3I use it and still proc Also Which more easier to proc Double Attack or Additional attack?(Nvr Try) XD If so we can change equip to much easy (less need Autoskill%) (>~<)/ I've not yet seen Irogeos additional attack and HA proc together (might be low rate, need to test?). There also was one time I thought it did, but it turned out the Fairy wind buff expired, which should've cancelled Hidden Arrow at the time. Sorry I cannot answer the second question. I have not tried focusing on additional attack because the damage it gives is significantly less (ex. Irogeos additional attack is about 12-21k for me depending on set)

I don't have a sniper yet, but...is it possible to have a decoy with max resist? e.g wearing resist set, then summon decoy, the decoy thereafter taking minimal dmg Thanks The decoy from wearing the resist set just seems to be a bit tankier (if you look at the critical damage taken), but overall the difference was very little compared to one from the attack set. The attack set decoy was more evasive though, it needed 3 enemies to take it down within the time limit. Not sure if its always the case because it was a one time test without buffs. Tried to upload a similar test from two weeks ago but it seems I already lost it (almost same result). I've not yet tested an HP set. So it becomes 40+6%? Thank thanks for the info On a related note I'm having trouble getting enchanters to sit through 1000 kills, so I think my next best choice is to lower the autoskill amount and see if the results agree with that amount...

Interesting data. So effectively, one may build a sniper wearing equips with high autoskill, thereafter slotting inilba or wizard in them - ensuring his dps wins over normal built snipers using dmg xtals, yet having cap resistance...tanking everything thrown to him the perfect tank dps class I've not thought about it that far yet but yes that'd be good and might be the next goal. But before that I'd need the 3rd test set, which is basically a repeat of Set2 but with the Enchanter's Draw buff (+10% auto), and the results need to be 8 procs out of 10 attacks (need to get one to sit with me for that 1000 kills). I might be jumping to conclusions, but if autoskill really adds to proc rate, if someone with 6 purple line apostolia can test too that'd be great. I read that 6 purple max R&B lines give +10% autoskilll, adding with the 40% (default DA @256 CRT) should give 5 procs out of 10 with no other autoskill+ equips. Also I edited the post since it appears my char was wearing relic xtas during the test. Btw, what led me to test autoskill was the Slebinian Badge (-100% auto), where I never got any DA proc.

Hello, the recent skills update gave us Hidden Arrow, whose damage rises whenever we get a double attack. Now we want that double attack as often as possible. But the wiki says that double attack plateaus at 40% with 256 CRT. There's also some info saying it goes to 65% at 400 CRT, and rumors about autoskill, etc. Searching online led me to dead-ends or sometimes, machine translated pages that just stumped me. I did not know what to believe anymore so I resorted to manual labor to get some hard data, since finding about it first hand is better than just reading about it.
What I wanted to test: 1. 256 CRT, 40% activation? 2. 400 CRT, 65% activation? 3. Autoskill? What I have: 1. 439 AGI 438 DEX 439 CRT, spec bow user 2. Place for testing Area: Dragon Trial Site Mobs: Goblin, Flare Horse, Star Spirit
3. Test Set1 Weap: Malicia Bow ◇Kagan ☆QuickCool2 Arm: Ultimi ◇Iniliba ☆Quick Use Add: Monty beret up ◇Raton ☆Quick Use Acc: ☆MagDef5 Spec: Thimble ◇Mr.Oritius ☆Quick Use Apos: MaltiG, VulschemG, LeviamG, VatendethG, IraiG. 8G lines Relic: Uradoom, Oswald, Warrior's Jewelry, Memory Fragment, str+1, melee+100, 2 x atk+1 Note: Equips were selected just because they have no autoskill bonus
4. Test Set2 Weap: Mirror Bow SAG ◇SauroII ☆MeleePierce4 Arm: Ossi Model (no xtal) ☆RangeCut5 Add: Daiginjo Holiday up clean Acc: ☆AutoSkill3 Spec: Thimble ◇Mr.Oritius ☆Quick Use (same as Set1) Apos: TeoR, ShelkG, SauroIIG, VatendethG, GKG. 3Y5G lines Relic: Uradoom, Oswald, Warrior's Jewelry, Memory Fragment, str+1, melee+100, 2 x atk+1 (same as Set1) Note: Weap/Arm/Add/Acc/Apos has (5+8+12+3+2)% autoskill, or 30% more autoskill than Set1 The Experiment: Ten rounds, 100 kills each at the Dragon Trial Site for both Test sets, totaling 2000 kills. I used Overclock, Fairy Wind and Hidden arrow. It was 1 attack per kill. I tested for the number of double attack procs over total number of attacks. Round Set1 Set2 1 37 / 100 75 / 100 2 48 / 100 78 / 100 3 43 / 100 85 / 100 4 49 / 100 76 / 100 5 49 / 100 75 / 100 6 45 / 100 75 / 100 7 40 / 100 77 / 100 8 50 / 100 82 / 100 9 38 / 100 76 / 100 10 48 / 100 67 / 100
Results: Test Set1 - Total 447 double attack procs / 1000 attacks - Single attack damage between 33.5K to 33.7K vs Flare Horse - Double attack damage between 51.9K to 52.1K vs Flare Horse - Hidden Arrow damages are about 2.6 times of the above damages Test Set2 - Total 766 double attack procs / 1000 attacks - Single attack damage between 30.5K to 31K vs Flare Horse - Double attack damage between 47.5K to 47.9K vs Flare Horse - Hidden Arrow damages are about 2.6 times of the above damages What can be concluded: 1. Rounded down, Test Set1 gives 4 double attack procs out of 10 attacks. Since I had 439 CRT, the hard data above disproves the 65% activation @400 CRT. However, this agrees with the wiki info about 40% activation @256 CRT, so it is safe to say with that CRT, we get 40% DA chance by default. However for Set 2, rounded down results give 7 double attack procs out of 10 attacks. Set2 had +30% autoskill more than Set1. Coincidence? Needs further testing. 2. Hidden arrow is about 2.6 times the damage it follows, whether single or double attack. Given the activation results, Set 2 will out-damage Set1 in 10 attacks, even if Set1 seemingly gives higher damage. We get the damage by [DA Damage + DA H.Arrow damage] + [no DA Damage + no DA H.Arrow damage] Set 1 damage in 10 attacks, 40% DA activation, 4 DA's and 6 no-DA's [(52.1 x 4) + (52.1 x 2.6 x 4)] + [(33.7 x 6) + (33.7 x 2.6 x 6)] = 1,478.16k or 1,478,160 Set 2 damage in 10 attacks, 70% DA activation, 7 DA's and 3 no-DA's [(47.9 x 7) + (47.9 x 2.6 x 7)] + [(31 x 3) + (31 x 2.6 x 3)] = 1,541.88k or 1,541,880
The higher damage values were used here. This shows that if the DA activation rate is high, even a set lacking xtals can beat a set with complete xtals.Post Notes: 1. Need more test rounds(?) I chose Dragon trial site because the mobs there can withstand single and double attacks, but will die with HA. Also, they have fragments. 2. For this info to be of use in actual battle, need to find a set that is both good in base damage and can proc more double attacks. 3. Autoskill again? I cannot conclude about Autoskill yet. This needs more testing... Need to conduct further test with an Enchanter, to give autoskill boost. If ever it turns out that Autoskill can(?) add to the 40% proc rate, then it'd be a good idea to party with them to maximize HA damage.
============================================================================ 2018/12/08 Update: Double Attack Experiment Part 2 - Auto SkillWhat I wanted to test:1. From the previous experiment, DA rate actually went up... was it the Autoskill?What I have: From the previous experiment I initially wanted to test Set2 again with Enchanter's Draw buff.But things didn't go well so the next best thing was to try and lower the Autoskill% given in Set2 and see if the amounts agree with the result.I got the same setup as before but now I made 2 new Test Sets. The new sets are just a mix of the equips from the first two test sets. Comparing the new sets to Set1, one has 10% more autoskill, while the other has 20% more. Test Set3 Weap: Mirror Bow SAG ◇SauroII ☆MeleePierce4 Arm: Ultimi ◇Iniliba ☆Quick Use Add: Monty beret up ◇Raton ☆Quick Use Acc: ☆AutoSkill3 Spec: Thimble ◇Mr.Oritius ☆Quick Use Apos: TeoR, ShelkG, SauroIIG, VatendethG, GKG. 3Y5G lines Relic: Uradoom, Oswald, Warrior's Jewelry, Memory Fragment, str+1, melee+100, 2 x atk+1 Note: Weap/Acc/Apos has (5+3+2)% autoskill, or 10% more autoskill than Set1Test Set4 Weap: Mirror Bow SAG ◇SauroII ☆MeleePierce4 Arm: Ultimi ◇Iniliba ☆Quick Use Add: Daiginjo Holiday up clean Acc: ☆AutoSkill3 Spec: Thimble ◇Mr.Oritius ☆Quick Use Apos: MaltiG, VulschemG, LeviamG, VatendethG, IraiG. 8G lines Relic: Uradoom, Oswald, Warrior's Jewelry, Memory Fragment, str+1, melee+100, 2 x atk+1 Note: Weap/Add/Acc has (5+12+3)% autoskill, or 20% more autoskill than Set1The Experiment:Ten rounds again, 100 kills each at the Dragon Trial Site for the new Test sets, totaling 2000 kills.I used Overclock, Fairy Wind and Hidden arrow. It was 1 attack per kill.I tested for the number of double attack procs over total number of attacks.The columns are arranged according to added Autoskill%. I also added results from the previous experiment:Round Set1 (40%)* Set3 (40%+10) Set4 (40%+20) Set2 (40%+30) 1 37 / 100 63 / 100 54 / 100 75 / 100 2 48 / 100 57 / 100 51 / 100 78 / 100 3 43 / 100 53 / 100 63 / 100 85 / 100 4 49 / 100 61 / 100 69 / 100 76 / 100 5 49 / 100 57 / 100 70 / 100 75 / 100 6 45 / 100 53 / 100 71 / 100 75 / 100 7 40 / 100 58 / 100 71 / 100 77 / 100 8 50 / 100 55 / 100 66 / 100 82 / 100 9 38 / 100 54 / 100 71 / 100 76 / 100 10 48 / 100 54 / 100 67 / 100 67 / 100 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Total : 447 / 1000 565 / 1000 653 / 1000 766 / 1000* - as per the wiki, 40% is the DA rate @ 256 CRT. Set 1 showed 40% DA rate during the previous experiment. The other column names display exactly how much Autoskill% was added.
Results: Test Set1 - (From previous) Total 447 double attack procs / 1000 attacks (about 4 procs in 10 attacks)Test Set3 - Total 565 double attack procs / 1000 attacks (about 5 procs in 10 attacks) - Single attack damage between 45.3K to 45.5K vs Flare Horse - Double attack damage between 70.5K to 70.9K vs Flare HorseTest Set4 - Total 653 double attack procs / 1000 attacks (about 6 procs in 10 attacks) - Single attack damage between 37.1K to 37.3K vs Flare Horse - Double attack damage between 57.4K to 57.7K vs Flare HorseTest Set2 - (From previous) Total 766 double attack procs / 1000 attacks (about 7 procs in 10 attacks) What can be concluded:1. Values spiked up and down but in the end the totals agreed to the amount of Autoskill% added. After two additional sets, 4000 kills, and a visible pattern, it makes it hard now to think of all this as coincidence. So we can say that the DA rate determined by CRT (40% @256crt) can be further boosted by the Autoskill% from equips.Post Notes:The next question would be... how much more Autoskill% can be added to that 40%? What is the limit? (40+50)? (40+60)? Lol perfect DA rate? Idk.For that it would need things like Draw buff from an enchanter, maybe new apostolia set, ☆Auto5, 2-slots,... Would love to test but unable atm since I don't have those.Hope you find the data useful. You will need to find your right gears so that this info is useful in actual battle. If you have related tests, it'd be great to hear from you. Cheers!

- Double attack chance (rate is improved by adding AutoSkill from abilities and equips) I remember reading somewhere that double attack activation rate is only affected by your CRT stat. Whoops, sorry about that part, was excited about the list of things to improve. I re-read the sources (carefully this time) and two were outdated threads (those written before the Autoskill Mechanics guide) while the other was about Twice Attack which turned out to be entirely different than Double Attack. Going back to the wiki it says that double attack plateaus at 40% with 256 CRT. I wanted to get what's beyond that, and the best lead pointed to getting 65% rate with 400 CRT. This I could not verify, deadend EN searches, it might lead to some JP sources which I'm no good at. If so, may I ask anyone kind enough to point to the right ref? Thanks and my apologies again.

so its possible yeet all hail snipers no need for aspd set edit: so reached max aspd? can test with blitz+? or interfike(hopefully someone could test this) ? (edit:again xd i just noticed wouldn't fairy would cancel fike hp consume auto or not xd) would they overlap? with fairy we would like bow monk/bow samu, interfike is the only atk interval i kno cuz we cant use other halve atk interval auto items because it would be cancelled as an agi snipe i so want it but im a bit far lv wize and interfike is a dream for me Hi, if you gain levels you won't need an aspd set, as you'd get max aspd naturally. I'm also AGI type and I think (only personally) that the current Overclock + Fairy Wind + Fast shot would be enough in terms of attack speed. I don't know for sure if the fastest possible, but is enough for me without 2-slot equips. Since I'm now building to make my sniper last longer while auto attacking, adding Interfike to the mix would be a minus. Here's what I have: - Without gears, I'm already at max aspd because of max AGI stat ( this was my ref) - Got Overclock, which feels like it made the shots faster than the supposed max aspd - Further aspd increase with Fast Shot - And now Fairy wind, which enabled to move during Fast shot, and Hidden Arrow, whose damage is higher if you shoot a double attack - Now during battles I can concentrate more on using items as needed, removing debuffs, and inflicting status to the enemy (samples vs Fred, vs Debby) What I want to improve: - Double attack chance (rate is improved by adding AutoSkill from abilities and equips)- Melee & Magic Resistance, Rate cut - atk% & crtdmg% (not possible for me atm while having only 1-slots) - Stun time decrease (not possible for me atm while having only 1-slots) All these for surviving and beating higher bosses. (PS. Careful on using Fairy Wind+Fast Shot in battle vs bosses like Fred, who inflict nasty debuffs which you can't remove with skill until Fast Shot finishes.) Cheers!

High cycle might be the best bet? Saw video of sniper using high cycle while using new skills

how many ur aspd? or what's ur Apos? i forgot where i read this, but ppl said u can get max aspd by using wild dance abi, purple line apos.. and aspd+% on equip. dunno. i need to test it y myself My aspd is 1070 1053 if full buff with resist set. I often switch apostolia but in the case of those videos they were all green. I think I also read those posts you were saying... about enchanter and aspd i think? They were also talking about dual blow but i don't have that so can't test at the moment. Edit: Sorry I mixed up the apostolia set, its 1053 aspd not 1070 if all green. It is 1070 if i use resist set with that other apostolia set (3 yellow, 5 green)

before i watch your link. whats is ur build? is agi 1 outdated now? cz. i dont put any stat point on agi. and i heard fairy wind rely on auto atk? My build is agi crt dex. Fairy wind enables one to move while attacking, so the speed of one attack is important. If agi is 1, I think high cycle can be used?

yesterday is the day we r waiting for o.o/ but i have no clue how to use it xD Hi, i tested the skills and they were good vs Debby - vs Sauro 350 - my observations are: - feather wind grants 3 buffs to you and a buff to party members - hidden arrow passive only takes effect if you have Overclock and Feather wind - Decoy is like a summoner's summoned beast, only that it is immobile and cannot attack. It gets all hate tho, meaning if you attack a mob while there's a decoy, the mob rushes to the decoy. The decoys lasts for 25 seconds and vanishes if you walk far from it. - You can only choose between Break Arrow or Paralysis, if you have one effect the other disappears. That's all I got for now. Cheers!
