Hi, everyone.
The old aspd guide is not bad. Actually, it is absolutely correct, but it gives some confusing details. Moreover, the threat was locked, so I cannot add more information on that threat.
I have to tell first what is correct, and what is wrong. Lets start with the true fact.
This is the correct information which everyone knows, but the first aspd part can be used only when you do not have any +%aspd gears.
Some people think if they use +100%aspd gear with sword, they will have to have based aspd of 171.5. 171.5 based aspd means only 50agi should be maxed aspd. That is the bigest misunderstanding. The agi they will need should be only 24!!! With 24agi and +100%aspd, the aspd will be 246, but this is the fastest movement. After adding more agi, the movement will not be faster anymore. This was what happen to me. XD
Now, the question is how much the aspd or agi are needed for the fastest movement.
There are two ways to answer that. Firstly, we can use aspd table from Japanese Wiki. The link is here (CLICK ME >.<). However, there are three miscalculated values on the table. Thus, I will give my own calculated table below.
The rolls of the table show how much aspd need with each +%aspd value, while the columns show the different type of weapon. Hopefully, this table will give more details than the old one.
The second way to reach the fastest movement is the agi calculation. The detail explanation of the formula has already been told in the Japanese Wiki, the same page with the aspd table, but I will type them again here to make clear sense of them. Firstly, we have to know some factors first.
These factors give us the agi need of max aspd come from.
For sword and nail, 12 levels times 12 agiwill equal to 144agi.
For throwing weapon, 13 levels times 12 agiwill equal to 156agi.
For bow, 14 levels times 12agi will equal to 168 agi.
For cane, 16 levels times 12agi will equal to 192agi.
Now, we can generate our own agi need formula to match the aspd table above.
If the calculated value is 1 or lower, that character will not need agi anymore!!!
Now, let me show you some examples.
If I ave a sword Enchanter with +30%aspd from 6 purple lines without RD and BL status in level 40 guild, The agi I need to max attack speed will equal to 144 - (12*(0.3*10)) - 0 - 8 - 2. I will need only 98agi to max my attack-speed movement.
If I have a throwing weapon Assassin with level 4 evasion and Baselardo(+20%aspd), The agi I need to max attack speed will equal to 156 - (12*(0.2*10)) - 40 - 12 - 0. I will need only 80agi to max my aspd.
If I have a sword Gladiator with +10%aspd from Lamia II,+100%aspd 6 purple lines with maxed RD and BL status, and +10%aspd Maelriel al xtal, The agi I need to max attack speed will equal to 144 - (12*(1.2*10)) - 0 - 5 - 0. The value is lower than 1, thus I can max aspd with 1agi.

This is, pretty much, everything about aspd. I hope this will solve some confusing part from the old aspd thread.

- Without agi and +%aspd gears, we will assume we are at level 0 of attack-speed movement.
- There are different numbers of levels for each type of weapons; 12 levels of swords and nails, 13 levels of throwing weapons, 14 levels of bows, and 16 levels of canes.
- Every 12agi or +10%aspd will increase 1 level of attack-speed movement.
These factors give us the agi need of max aspd come from.
For sword and nail, 12 levels times 12 agiwill equal to 144agi.
For throwing weapon, 13 levels times 12 agiwill equal to 156agi.

For cane, 16 levels times 12agi will equal to 192agi.
Now, we can generate our own agi need formula to match the aspd table above.
{AGI Needed Formula Here}
Agi Need = [max Agi need of your weapon type] - (12*([+%aspd from gear]*10)) - [Agi from gears and skills] - [Agi from each class] - [Agi from guild level]
If the calculated value is 1 or lower, that character will not need agi anymore!!!
