well, tested this myself but still need to test on dark mobs. So far, haven't seen anything that would recommend Empress over S Rod or R Rod, while R Rod seems to be just about "perfect" for a DPSing Bishop. SB is proc'ing 75% of the time or more adding 50% to Dmg. Will try: HW against Nagas with Empress vs R Rod - supposedly, Light Attrib of Empress will either change dmg to Light, or add Light dmg. Neme Bish against Nagas with Empress vs R Rod (both slotted but empty; S Rod is s Gerust already) Thus speaking, why don't you just get light ring ? Add holy dmg and magic holy dmg add up (is neme a light type ?!? -_- can't wait.. 18 more lvl) What does Light ring do? Please reply with what you Know, not what you read or been told. As this experiment showed Me, what people believed Empress did was false. P.S. And where to get light ring? I don't believe I've ever seen this traded. |

For a spc, it would have to be damn powerful for me to give up what I have now lol. Even NS, stone figurine's 1500 HP helps take down multiple (well, 2 to 3, lol) ents at a time. |

I am not sure about Empress Rod as I haven't tested it yet. I will try to grab one and test it. What i can say though is Light Rod boosts nemesis damage. Here are some test I did. On mobs outside of Spargas. I will try on Dark Mobs too. Light Rod 168 with Gerust  Damage against Lepus  Resty Rod 183 with Beelzetor (higher attack, more total matk%)  Damage against same mobs  Anyway, if Empress doesn't really boost nemesis damage then I should feel bad selling my Solve 2S in hopes of finding Princely Seller. I'll shop for one later and do some test too.
For solo grind, that you'd have to tank, yes Resty still beads any rod in my opinion. But on parties with pally, I can say you're better off with Light or any other Rod. |

Wow, that's a pretty big difference Plagueis. Please post your results once you test Empress too. I'm fairly confident you'll get the same results as I did, but you never know!

And about Light Ring, yes, I have tested it as well. Lemme check if I still have it and do some test. To be honest I've forgotten about it cause I've only used it back Medusa days. And yeah, it boosts Holy Light Damage.
I am in a dillema right now as to what spec I should get next. I've decided on Magical Ring for quite some time but I've seen people buying Light Ring too and I'm considering it.
And will do bro. But since you did same test, I doubt I'll have different result though. Lol.

I would test Magical and Light ring, just in case if you have them both. People tend to buy what's commonly known, not necessarily what's better (you hardly see people farming/trading Dodge RING, which gives 2% more eva than Dodge CHARM, for example), lol. I am using Stone Figurine right now (1% ATK and MATK, 1500HP if >179), but plan to switch to Magical when I hit 200; I should have enough Vit by then to account for those 1500 HP. Well.. that's the plan unless you find out Light ring does more for Bish, lol.

Does it give straight HP or %? If it's %, I probably don't have enough to beat 1500 from Stone, since my HP is less than half of yours. I've never Heard of "ori ring" until you mentioned it. |
