WELCOME!! This is a guide to becoming a successful bishop.
First of all, allow me to introduce myself. I am Prayerz, a level 238 bishop. Some of you know me for my youtube videos from English and JP servers. Some of you know me from running into me in game. Some of you may have just heard of me or know nothing about me at all. I’m making this guide to help those bishops who have a hard time leveling after 120/140+. Please, enjoy the guide.
Note: I will not have skill quest names, as I can’t remember all of them z.z
I will include where to find them though, and a wiki link with updated information on where to get any items needed.
iruna-online.net/classes/ (English wiki) iruna-online.wikiwiki.jp (Japanese wiki)
Any information I miss or get wrong, please let me know as I do tend to forget. I'd rather us work together to make this guide stay as updated as possible, so I will update as new content releases. I will not add information for gears or skills that are not yet implemented unless relevant to currently released skills, as to avoid confusion of what is available and what isn't.
-APPRENTICE BISHOP-
Requirements: Level 120 Cleric (Lv. 70) Holy Light Lv. 1 Kreiss Heal Lv. 2
Job Location: Capital City Saterica: Presidential Office (Cleil)
Acquired Skills: Resurrection Lv. 1 Divine Bless Lv. 1 Faith Lv. 3 Capacity Lv. 1
Leveling: Nagas Awaiting the Goddess (ATG) Evil Vibes: Baphomets Hummers Tigris Megaroche
-SKILLS-
After you obtain your apprenticeship, you gain a few new skills to help along your adventure.
Resurrection Lv. 1: Allows you to avoid death by reviving about 30% of your hp when your hp hits 0. All buffs will remain except revival effect. Lasts 5 minutes.
Divine Bless Lv. 1: Just like normal bless, but blesses all parties members within range of the caster. Increases hp and mp a little. Lasts 5 minutes.
Faith Lv. 3 (Passive): Max HP Increases.
Capacity Lv. 1 (Passive): Max MP increases.
-LEVELING-
Okay, so I bet I know what a lot of you are thinking. Why do everything else when you can just try megaroches? Well, not everyone in megaroches will take kindly to a Lv. 120 Bishop, just because of level. So, instead of wasting hours looking for a party and not getting one, I have given you multiple sources of leveling I tried from 120+.
-NAGAS- Nagas are probably the most common way to level at 120+ if you can find some friends around your level willing to join you, or don’t mind solo grinding them like I did. The quest for killing this mob can be obtained from the NPC Shekto, located in the Maze of Enzeits map. He will be in the boss room, located just passed floor 3 of the map. The quest requires you to be level 120+, so make sure you’ve already attained this level.
The quest has 2 options, (x30) or (x99). Clearly, the second option is our choice. Choose (x99) nagas, and go complete the quest. Upon turning in, you will receive 410,000 xp, and a either a few Revita (L), or Magic Jars. This is recommended for 120-140.
Snake in the Maze: Level 120 Slay:
Naga (x99) Reward:
410,000 xp Random recovery item
-ATG-
Dislike nagas? Let’s take you back to ATG. You can locate this quest in the Inje Enclave, just outside Kleya, from Inje Man. While this quest was made for lower levels, it doesn’t change the fact that in a party, it only takes about 5 minutes, and can net you either 280,000 exp, or, if you kill False Grecia, 365,000 xp. That amount of exp in a few minutes looks crazy right? Only down fall? You have to leave the dungeon to turn in, and then run back through all the floors, making it 280k/365k xp around every 10 minutes. It still isn’t bad, considering you can also pick up Enemies of Inje from the other NPC on the map before heading into the dungeon, which adds another 80,000 xp to your grinding experience.
Awaiting the Goddess: Level 80 Slay:
Albrero (x30) Leopard (x30) Ganoschka (x30) False Grecia (Optional) Reward:
280,000 xp (Without FG) 365,000 xp (With FG)
Enemies of Inje: Level 100 Slay:
Albrero (x50) Leopards (x20) Ganoschka (x10) Reward:
80,000 xp
-EV: BAPHOMETS-
Okay so you’re probably looking for a way to grind when you’re solo, and dislike soloing nagas because it can get a bit time consuming and tiring. Let’s kill Baphomets. This mob is extremely easy for Bishops due to their attribute being darkness, and our main attack, Holy Light, is fitted with the Light element. Also, the exp isn’t that bad if you use ports to get from mob back to saterica, turn in, and run back to floor 2 of the map. The quest itself can be picked up from the same NPC you gained your apprenticeship from.
Evil Vibes: Baphomets Level 70 Slay:
Baphomet (x50) Reward:
130,000 xp Random item (Recov, Consume, Equip)
-HUMMERS-
Okay, so this method will require a 140+ High Wizard or 180+ Bishop as a partner, as well as them having 2752 matk or higher for it to be effective. The idea here is strictly a mob grind, with no quest, so you really wouldn't need to leave until bags are full, unless you don’t mind sitting and disposing. Hummers are non-hostile mobs, but they’re located in a hostile dungeon (Imperial City Rogorath), so beware of aggression from other mobs. The safest place to kill this mob is on floor 2, as aggressive mobs are little here. Your partner will spam their aoe, and you will heal them as they take damage.
With tickets, I gained about 15k xp per kill her at 140+ with a 157 High Wizard as my partner. Killing 3 at a time, that was 45k xp every few seconds. Without tickets I gained about 6k exp under similar conditions.
This method is useful until 180+, using the Hard Armor Piece drops at 170+ for a quest located in the Zimov Dungeon.
-TIGRIS-
This method will require a 140+ High Wizard, 180+ bishop, both needing 2700+ matk to be completely effective, or a 160+ paladin. This grind is a bit less effective than hummers, and your target mob will be aggressive, making it harder, but it’s still a decent way to level, especially when lacking a high wizard or bishop with aoe, or when those jobs are 170+ and want to turn their hard armors in faster. You will need around a 4-5k heal to be useful here, though 6k+ is recommended. Your aoe partner will kill Tigris while you stand in a safe spot where tigris rarely spawn, and heal.
I gained about 13k xp at around 160 here with my paladin friend in his 170s, with tickets. I don’t know non ticket xp, unfortunately.
-MEGAROCHE- Everyone’s pride and joy leveling spot, roches give out tons of xp. While this hadn’t released until I was already 183, Megaroches aren’t too hard to find a party for if you’re a healer. Most parties want a healer who can do exactly that: Heal. If you can heal at least 5-6k, you should be welcome in most roche parties, but don't get your hope up on finding too many AoE parties who will take you in, as most look for 180+ bishops who can aoe with them. But, when they cant find a bishop that level, and start getting desperate for a healer, you’ll be on their radar.
Not much to say for this mob other than it’s the best xp around for grinding, but also tough to get a party for before 140. When you find it hard to get a party here, just head back to one of the other grinds.
-BISHOP-
Requirements: Level 140 Apprentice Bishop (Lv. 120)
Job Location: Capital City Elban: Throne Room (King Elbano)
Skills Acquired (Job Change): Priere Lv. 1 Heal Lv. 3 Aegis Lv. 3 Capacity Lv. 2 Physical Lv. 1

Priere Lv. 2: Increases matk and max MP (12%). Lasts 4 minutes. (Lv. 160)
Sanctuary Lv. 1: Reduces ranged attack distance and damage for the party. Consumes HP. (Lv. 180)
Nemesis Lv. 1: Bishop's AoE skill. Hits a maximum of 3 targets at a time. Very small in range, and hits the 3 closest together, so be careful when spamming, as you can end up pulling 4-5 separate enemies unintentionally, and only hitting 3 at a time could cause your death. *MAX DEX IS NEEDED FOR THIS SKILL TO REACH IT'S MAX POTENTIAL. NO SKILL DELAY GEAR IS NECESSARY EITHER. (Lv. 180)
Risparmio Lv. 1: Decreases MP Consumption (-30%) and increases Max MP and Natural Recovery. Lasts 4 minutes. (Lv. 200)
Revelation Lv. 1: Doubles the target job's bonus. Consumes 50% hp when used on self. (Lv. 220)
Eryldan Desert (Shop):
Priere Lv. 3: Increases Matk and Max MP (16%). *Buy for 3,000,000. (Lv. 200)

Resurrection Lv. 2: Allows you to avoid death by reviving about 50%(?) of your hp when your hp hits 0. All buffs will remain except revival effect. Lasts 10 minutes. *Unimplemented currently. (Lv. 220)
-Leveling--Megaroche-(140 - 200/Cap)As stated before, this is the prime leveling spot for any job. If you can get yourself into a good party here, leveling is easy, and is recommended to stay here til 200+ or cap as a bishop.
-Hummers/Tigris- (140-180/200)
Yes, these are STILL excellent spots to level. Until you get your own aoe, you'll still need an aoe partner, but when you're 170, if you filled your mail, bag and storage with hard armor piece stacks, you can just start turning in right away for a couple levels off the back.
-Monsters in the Valley- (140-160)
MiV is short for Monsters in the Valley, a quest avaiable from the Homunculus city below Elban. To get to this city is a bit confusing though, as there are 2 requirements. - Himmel's main story mission must be completed. - Must actively have the quest from Vafardo, City of Artificial Human, in your quest log.
You CANNOT enter the maze of umberto without first having this requirements met.
As for the quest, you will recieve 900,000 xp or so (Have to go check all the info about this quest again), for the subjugation of 60 of each of the 3 mobs in the maze. *More info needed.
-MiV- Level 140
Slay: Embryo x60 Ephe x60 Lutat x60
Reward: 900,000 xp Random Recovery Item
Location: Maze of Umberto (Herstel)
-Nagas- (120-160+)
Yes, yes, I know. You're tired of Nagas. But that doesn't remove its usefulness. The info about this quest is stated above, but I figured I would place a reminder that this quest can still be helpful at least until 160+ if not further.
-Finstern- (140-170/180+)
Okay, so you guys are probably wondering 'Finstern? Why him?' Well, as old of a boss as he is, he still is of the Dark element, meaning we do increased damage on him. Not only that, his exp is good, and at 140, takes about 2-3 minutes while handing out 130k+ with tickets, and I believe 50-60k without. The boss is easier at 160+ when you get holy light 2 though, so don't stress it if he's too bothersome beforehand. Just make sure to bring plenty of mp pots, or a Tunic or Mage Robe for recovering mana faster, and an hp set because once he blinds, his crits get deadly. I should know as I've fallen victim to those crits plenty of times when grinding him.
-Shojo- (120-180+)
Shojo isn't one of my personally tested methods, but I met a few bishops who capped here repeatedly. Shojo is pretty easy, being a majorly magic based boss, but I wouldn't recommend for a solo grind experience. Take a gladiator or hwiz partner, and just grind. If you party with a hwiz, you will have to tank, so at least an iron armor up is recommended. There's some positives to grinding this boss as well: RARES. Not only do you get xp, you have the chance to drop a ◇Shojo, which could fetch you 7-10m, or even better, an Amaterasu 2 slot, which could get you 100m+! Good luck on the 2 slot, though. Very, very rare. -Neknotts- (120-200+)
Okay, so I'm sure you guys know what neknotts are, but if not, they're the skeletal bird mob on the way to High Ent/Magonza. These guys have a few benefits: Exp, decent npc trash, and, if you're lucky, a dodge charm slot. Not to mention, these mob use magic attacks more often than physical attacks, so with 3k or so hp, and max INT, survival is pretty easy. They give about 6k xp solo with no tix, and about 15k+ with tix. Their mob trash npcs pretty well, getting 500k-1m per full bag, and if you get a slotted dodge charm, you get 20-30m off the back.
-Hunting Competition- (170-200+)
Okay, at 170, this quest becomes available from the NPC Tyfa in Mawid Plains. Fortunately, one of the mobs drops ports here, so when you wanna leave, coming back is easy. The quest nets you 1,250,000 exp, and all you have to do is kill x99 of all 3 mobs. Sound easy? It's probably harder than it sounds. Why? Natra Keepers. This mob has high hp, and hits pretty quickly with moderate damage, so this mob could be your downfall. But parties seem to fill this place often, so just try joining one.
-Hunting Competition- Level 170
Slay: Soldier Beelzem x99 Archer Brosche x99 Natra Keeper x99
Location: Mawid Plains (Tyfa)
Reward: 1,250,000 xp
-Leveling (180+)-Alright, before I start, let me state that after 180, leveling becomes easy and enjoyable. You have Nemesis, and max dex to use it I would hope. Mob grinds become easy. Life is easy now. So enjoy and congrats for making it this far already, and good luck on capping or hitting your goal.
-High Ent-
So we have nemesis, our very own AoE. Now what? Well, as far as grinding goes, I would suggest doing High Ent. This is the BEST exp. Soloing here as a bishop is the fastest way to hit cap than joining an AoE party at megas, unless that AoE party is 4 200-220+ bishops all netting their own megas (very rare). Only issue with high ent is this could be difficult with less than 10k hp to keep your hp up, so I would recommend hp gear and a load of mp pots or an mp healer while grinding until your hp and mp are stable enough for soloing. Exp is 40k without tix, and around 100k with. You could also pick up some oris and ◇MaxHP+20%s.
-Megaroche-
This is my second place recommendation as a bishop, as spawns are slow nowadays, so their exp is slow, too. But it is still good exp, netting 80k in a full party without tix and 200k with (varies with party member levels).
-Kakeula: MiV-
Some of you, even the experienced players, are probably wondering 'What? MiV in Kakeula? Impossibru!' Think again. And not only is it a new MiV quest, it's easier as well, as far as completion conditions go. The quest is located from the NPC at the top of the town's steps, and requires you to kill x99 Lont Mantis, and gives you the optional choice of turning in 1 Orichalcum for an extra 50k xp. I wouldn't stress the ori personally, as without it you still get 1,450,000 xp, and Mantis drops ori as a rare. So if you drop an ori, then use it if you want. If not, no big deal at all. -Monsters in the Valley- Level 200
Slay: Lont Mantis x99
Gather: Orichalcum x1 (Optional)
Reward: 1,450,000 xp 1,500,000 xp (With Ori) Onigiri ★Kakeula x5 (With Ori)
Location: Kakeula City (Ryuan)
-Protect The Dragon- Level 180
Slay: Ushi-Oni x99 Shiki-Oni x99 Nozuchi x99 Tsuchinoko x1
Reward: 3,000,000 xp (With Tsuchinoko kill) 2,700,000 (Without Tsuchinoko) ★Kakeula

G E A ROkay, here's the part you all probably were looking for. The gears you will need to be a successful Bishop. I didn't personally have enough time to get all the weapons and armors personally, so credits to sherui and her old unfinished bishop guide for the equipment list. Everything here will be copy/paste and edited for any mistakes.
I will update any new content that wasn't around for her guide as well.
Rods
Solve Rod The best rod ever for bishops. It has skill delay, matk, and heal all wrapped in a nice package. This is your all-purpose rod that should be with you always.
Get: Bosshiet (Tower of Zebul)
Stats: Atk 155-165-170, matk +5%, skill delay -0.5s, heal recovery +3%
Solve Rod+ Atk 165-175-180, matk +7%, skill delay -0.5s, heal recovery +4%
Get: Upgrade at Fort Bailune
Materials:
Dark Crysta x2 Old Magical Manual x2 High Mithril x1
Phoenix Staff This is a nice high matk rod that is like a stronger version of solve rod, except it is missing the crucial skill delay. I would only use this rod in sets containing –skill delay equips such as wolf ears or exelis upg.
Get:
Garel
Stats: Atk 170-180-185, dex +7, matk +7%, heal recovery +3%, mdef +7%, mp recovery chance when exhaustion (about 25% recovery of maximum MP).

Get:
Kakeula City
Materials:
Praseodymium x1 Orichalcum x10 Torn Shide x20
Princely Rod The heavy hitting rod best used for bishops 180+ trying to one shot using nemesis. Again, this rod has no skill delay… but the skill delay on nemesis is so little you’ll not notice it anyway.

Priest Staff Honestly, a rod for the rich / fortunate who can own 2s. It is a good rod for healing, but can't really compare to the utility of solve rod.

Get: Master Sauro
Stats: Atk 125-135-140, def 3, int +3, dex +3, matk+6%, cast time -10%
Resty Rod Super heavy-duty rod. It’s slow, so you can afford to use matk/mp consumption up xtals like isurugi. It also has an autoskill similar to Spell Boost's effect when defending, increasing matk by around 1k, and no extra MP consumption.
Get: Beezldam
Stats: Atk 178-188-193, matk +10%, +0.5s skill delay, -20% hate growth, matk increase when defendingKerykeion Stats: Atk 180-190-195, Matk+9%, MP Consumption -10%, Physical Resistance +5%, Heal Recovery +3%, Items Delay -0.5seconds (Hidden Correction: Attack Range + ?)

Battery Gotta love that mana recovery =w= Stats: MP recovery +30%
Leafy Bangle +20 mana recovery. Depending on the amount of mana you have, this may or may not be better than battery.
Get:
Kijimu (Altoale Sector)
Ghost Candle Matk and –cspd for nemesis. However, not worth it if you can add mezzaluna to a different equip.
Stats: Matk +2%, cast time -10%
Medical Ring A ring for healing others only. Not to be used by low lvl mage/cleric/bishop. Again, I want to emphasize the priority of slot over stat in spec equip
Stats: Heal recovery +8%, heal received down
Jar of Greed Because. Just because everyone who believes in it should carry one.
Stats: Rare drop rate up, exp down by a lot CrystaEveryone needs crysta, but do we all know what crysta are? As we know, some gear drops have the chance to drop with a slot, or without a slot. In the case of weapons, there's a chance you could even get 2 slots! What is the purpose of these slots? Well, to attach items known as crysta into our gear, and enhance our abilities and stats. These are very vital to how your character performs in any situation, and they come in varieties. Below, I will have listed a couple of my recommended crystas that we Bishops can use to enhance ourselves, and help us progress along easier. *Note that if crysta is highlighted red, there could be risks and implications with your characters effectiveness in battling. Use these wisely, and at your own cost. Also note that when making a heal set, it is not recommended to use heal crystas in every slot. It is best to have one or two equips to switch to that have heal recovery+%, while using 1x heal xtal, and all the rest of your xtals set for matk.
◇Roar
Heal Recovery+5%
◇Grail
Matk+3%, Heal Recovery+3%, Adds Heal Recovery+7% on Additional.
◇Unicorn
Matk+6%, Heal Recovery+3%
◇Gerust
Matk+15% Skill Delay +1 second. Adds Matk+5% on Weapons.
◇Dunkelis
Matk+13%, Auto MP Recovery -20%
◇Mezzaluna
Matk+15% MaxMP-40%. Adds MaxMP+40% on Special. *Note that on special equipment, this xtal cancels out, leaving just Matk+15% as its stat.
◇Moldus
Dex+1. Adds Matk+7% on Armors. Double effect if Dex>199. *Note that this crysta is only used for armors as it will only give Dex+1 (Dex+2 if dex>199) on other equipments. ◇Wargvel
Magic damage+5% to Light/Neutral/Dark. In Armor, Matk+5% added.
◇Jabek
Auto MP Recovery+100%, MaxMP-10%
◇Rossam
MP Consumption-20%
◇Gusanoth
Matk+7%, Small HP recovery when defeating enemies (Removes autoskill).
◇False Grecia
Matk+10%, MP Consumption+30%
◇Isurugi Statue
Matk+15%, MP Consumption+50%, When equipped to weapon, Matk-3%, MP Consumption-25% added. *Note that in weapon, you added the respective stats together, so it is Matk+12%, MP Consumption+25%.
◇Piton
MaxHP+15%, MaxMP+10%
◇MaxHP+20%

Heh, I was gonna ask your thoughts on Viola, and I see it's already at the top your list.
Have you tried running with in esp for Nemesis casting? I assume the 50%CS will hurt for that?

Heh, I was gonna ask your thoughts on Viola, and I see it's already at the top your list. Have you tried running with in esp for Nemesis casting? I assume the 50%CS will hurt for that? It would depend on how fast your cast time already is for nemesis. It will only add half of your current time on to it. Nemesis cast at max dex is just barely more than 1 second, so viola adds about a half a second or so onto my cast. I spam it pretty well, still. Only downfall with Viola is the lack of skill delay, but I don't mind that because with it I heal higher, and my matk is also higher, meaning I do higher damage now. Personally, I feel it's the best possible additional for bishops to own, and I'm not the only Bishop who agrees with that. It's good at high and low levels, considering bishop doesn't use any cast time based spells from 100-180. Personally recommended by me to get this equip before Guild Raid is over. ~

Added new quest to the guide for level 180+ (Protect the Dragon), and fixed level requirement for Kakeula MiV.
Also lowered font size to make easier reading for everyone.

But yea, this is pretty much a Rockstar for any healer.

And yeah, any bishop looking to get a great heal/matk additional, this is their chance to get it free now. They'll shoot themselves in the foot if they dont get.
