Hello anyone scrolling through random chitchat posts, here lies some stray thoughts~
A year ago, during the very first exp event, I leveled a low level newbie at the divine tower for a while. Recently, he came back and found me to give me 100m (which is not worth the 15? 20? levels I gave him with the exp event boost)
Any of you ever get the feeling that you are meeting new players less and less? If you have the time to scroll and read though this, perhaps you have the time to occasionally help others out.
Not just any beggar, but real struggling players. They may become good friends, and people who receive help don't all just disappear. I've been getting that feeling from Iruna. The feeling of a game that has a declining playerbase... and we all know what that means.
Maybe we could all be less boastful about how awesome we are, myself included with my assassin pride. I always feel strangely upset seeing arguments on the forums. It's almost as if this is where our most helpful and influential players are gathered. We can afford to make iruna a bit better by at least helping each other out right?
What's something you did for someone else simply to help them out?

-I was farming eisen one time and a rime dropped, so i went to fort bailune and mailed to a random low level. Became friends real quick and when he was more active we would go kill stuff together. Got me an altorm s for christmas ;-;
- i walked someone to the 3i map and gave them a gladi sword and whaddyyaaaa know, theyre cap now 😂 we dont talk all that much but we still can cx
- (this is something someone else did for me first) was refining something at ugb and the other guy refining there managed to +9 so he mailed the remaining ori and mythril to me. I felt bad (and i still didnt manage to +9) and we added eachpther after over my fear of high levels (because in my head i think that they will think “ew why ish dis stoopid n0000bwidn trynna ad meh”) and then the next day he invited me to farm jbf (i say farm but it was more leeching) and i managed to drop a couple rares omo. Sent him a veltria and from then on we’ve been sending gifts back and forth. *well ok ive strayed kinda from the op*

Sending items to random newbies is something I do from time to time. Someone did that to me when I was new, so I would like to carry on this custom and, who knows, make those players to do the same in the future.
About helping directly... I did help a guy that needs to kill Sturm, but he just disbanded the pt after getting what he wanted. This can be considered a selfish request, but it would be good to hear "thanks" at least.

I'm usually the one getting offered help (I rarely ask) since I'm a nub still. I never had the spina to randomly give stuff away, but there were times when I'd just get hit with the "cuz why not?" attitude and help people with stuff like MQ or farming. I remember one time when my guild was still active, I helped a guildie through a lot of MQ before apostolia and sometimes with farming as well. I also let her freeload put items in my stall whenever a spot is open for free. Later on, she "gave back" to me by offering to help with MQ and giving me items like ghost ring and battle surcoat (although I have to apologize cuz spina > sentimental value).
She's inactive now along with the rest of my friends from the guild. I quite miss those times.

Many players here sucks and selfish, its undeniable but there are few good and outstanding people and once you meet them they lasts long.
I've been gone in the game for a long time but I still hangout with friends that I met in Iruna. Outside the game, where sometimes a particular situation is being referred by Iruna.
For an instance my habit of starting all over (and over again), or when Im adding them in my FL in another game I will say "Lvl me pls pls pls pls" and vice versa.
Also sometimes who are they in iruna is who they are outside the game.

Its hard to determine whos new and whos pretending so i try to help who i can, but if i dont see them putting in efforts then i usually cut them off because while i do enjoy helping, I would also like time to play the game to :/ So its a balancing act i suppose.
The friends i have kept around are awesome and loyal players but ive been tricked a few times xS
