So I'm making a Paladin, my question is why is str recommended for Guardian build instead of dex? Wouldn't dex give more atk to spc swords or does str give skill delay to Guardian like 20 dex gives BS 0.5 skill delay? Or is Guardians dmg based off str?
I'm only lvl 31 atm so I don't need to worry about a restat xD and I have a spare stelfy if anything.

Guardian (ambient attack) Technique to attack the enemy of all hostile. To perform non-attribute attack to target, causing direct their hostility to itself. Power changes at HP currently. (Upon activation, HP consumption) HP2% SLV1 MP50 current law [surgery guardian] Quest (Lv160) clear (HP × 0.11 currently) ※ damage calculation = {(ATK + STR) × 4- enemy DEF} × attribute values} + HP2% SLv2 MP70 current quest [skill acquisition trial!] (Lv200) clear (HP × 0.16 currently) ※ damage calculation = {(ATK + STR) × 4.2- enemy DEF} × attribute values} + Enemy during cure even (purple aura) transmembrane portion of the formula for HP currently, to (defense ignored) Damage is reduced as given in × 0.8 in the case of × 0.9,3 body target in the case of two-body target
STR plays a direct part of the formula for guardian, as well as increases damage with Special Sword slightly.

Thanks for the formula, I asked about the build because I saw on one thread that said vit/str/dex O.o so it confused me, I wanted to see why str was put first before dex O.o
Anyway I'm definitely going vit/dex first, got a Wound transer gotta get that mdef xD

going str second you can also abuse normal type weapons, which also means you abuse elemental advantage.

Yeah, but I preferred to go dex second, because I don't have to rely on armors like exe up for guardian spam. I only need -0.5 seconds delay to spam currently at 255 dex (next level i can cap it and start str *^*)9), so i can use adds like barbarotita or wolf ears to spam skills ^^

My primary reason for going str is so I could use sauroblade, and I can have a wider choice of normal swords to put currone into because katz2s is so expensive to currone.
