Doesn't dmail completly nullify dmg by chance? BTW which bosses would u need p.armor? I thought dmail's auto skill was counter by defense not nullify dmg? I remember reading in monk section som1 saying how dmail null dmg but idk ~[._.]~ O well

Think he meant this: Hidden performance: defending, physical counterattack counterattack upon activation, disable the damage with a probability Which, if this is the case, then that means it's only a 50/50 chance of which will happen with d.mail. Add that into the autoskill formula, and that'd mean this sucks for paladin, due to the fact that autoskill rate is already low, let alone 2 autoskills on one armor. Chances of getting the damage cut chance is even lower than plate armor in the end.

Also, Plate armor helps on bosses who can hit physical crits like Dooms, or even Almas (I used Plate Up when farming Almas until Laminated Mail released).

I think the translation for Dmail goes: Hidden performance: when defending, Physical counterattack counterattack upon activation with a probability, Disabling the Damage Which, per my understanding is when it counters, it will also disable damage. I haven't really tested, but the autoskill sounds better than Pmail's autoskill, except that Pmail offers a fixed 5% resistance. I use Dmail with my pally for the ATK (much like Pmail is used for 5% resistance). I am trying to check these autoskills on my enchanter, I never plan to use it on my pally, since Paladins should never rely on these very-low-proc-rate-autoskills-that-you-would-never-know-or-feel-they-are-there-even-if-the-description-says-it's-there.

Made some test runs on enchanter on megas. Plate armor reduce around 500 to 800dmg which is a sign that reduction might be by percentage. Dragon mail procs counter but have not seen any evidence of nullifying damage. If the proc of null damage is low, then it is too low to even declare that it exists.

What does plate up do exactly? VIT+3 Physical Resistance +5% it has a defensive autoskill that reduces damage (which I don't think is meant to be used by Paladins but by enchanters because of the proc rate)

And how long is the buff? If its 10 sec+ i can use it..if its like beast howl...then i'll stick with normal plate

Its just the autoskill that you cant rely on And should only be taken as a bonus . This unless you Increase autoskill chances. The reduction Is not buff. It Is by chance on defense.

Oh ok. I need to get It on video and review the replay then. I was only checking the battle log and the red numbers. Wasnt paying attention on my hp. thanks for bringing It up. It looks very promising If It does work.
