Ok, I'm kinda been obsessing on Berserk since the first time I used it (it was just that f'ing cool!). Especially with my situation (triple account: SoonToBeGlad, Bish, HW), I have been trying to figure out how to both extend Berserk's duration and minimize berserk down time (essentially, the time it takes for me to fill up with MP enough to trigger it again, and again, and again and... ) without 1)keeping him MPed by my HW, or 2) chugging Rem pots left and right So, how dumb is this idea: Crit>Int>STR or Vit (to survive full berserk+counter) Using Magic Swords for 2.5 Atk/int (Reg swords is 3atk/str)? I realize I can just do CRT>STR>INT or a combination thereof but like I said... how dumb is this idea ?

I'm pretty sure you will just waste a stat using str for magic sword, because if I remember correctly, there's no attack bonus then from strength. Your best bet is to stay Int>Crt>Vit or Int>Crt> Dex>Vit.
But yes, Int will give you more mp, which will result in an increased beserk duration. Skill delay gear would be necessary to cut the cool down, but beserks cool down is designed to last as long as you're beserking, so a 30 second delay isn't going to really be worth shaving off a second a two.

Basically creating a continuous berserk char. I figure I would still lose out on the Str bonuses on weapons like Barbaro axe, and even Red Tengu (up), but that would be made up for not having (or at least minimized) 'down time' between berserks.

i just change my claw gladiator to magic sword gladiator, and i think it's cool... coz when i pt with bishop, i can do berserk over and over again with bless. even though the dmg is not as strong as normal sword gladiator, but still it's cool

I don't think I'll change (free player, lol) unless I get lucky with the daily box and get stefly but would be interested to see Yea, I figure the .5pt per Str that you lose, you (more than?) gain back with the ability to do back to back to back to back berserk. That said, I am watching my MP regen (I run around with at least a Bish 100% of the time) and I am now at around 20-30 mp per tick (3 secs) which means I can generate 150 MP in about 15 seconds-23 seconds? I just can't recall if this was with S Bangle or off though lol. Full Int may not be necessary (for me, and my situation) after all if I can get a per tick of 30-40 which would net me about 150 MP every 12-15 seconds which is about the length of time for my Berserk .

LOL only L112 here built on a traditional berserk line, 181 CRT 155 STR 10 VIT so can't really comment on your numbers, but they sure do impress me!

With magic sword, your DPS is lower compared to normal swords and elemental swords.
Why berserk with magic swords for 20seconds, when you can meet the same total damage in 10seconds with an elemental or normal sword?

A longer berserk might also work against you. Longer period of time without using items/buff or rebuffing. Tanking is out of the picture if you cant keep hate while berserking for 20secs.
However this might be a really great grinding berserk build because some mob (piton i think) drops sweet and sour fruit(is that the name???) And it gives a bless-like effect. Pair that up with a leafy bangle (mp regen+20) and you might be able to spam berserk and grind boss.
Not tested btw.

Well, My sword gladiator uses normal swords, and with bless, still manages to regain enough mp before his beserk ends to go right back into beserk. I think his mp hit that point at around 145-147 ish. So, eventually, your MP will be enough to do it, and dps will be higher, so in the 20 seconds it takes you to do 30k+ damage (random number, not literal), it would take me half that to hit that amount, and the same amount of time to hit double. So, there's that. Only upside really to a magic sword gladi versus normal sword is hp pool+mdef versus just an hp pool on normal sword gladi.

Well, like I said, How Dumb is this idea ? But yea, I am finding that (again, especially once Glad gets buff like Div Bless) the wait time in between berserks gets shorter as I level up. Now @ L127 and between Div Bless and Pierre from my Bish, my down time is maybe a full 5 seconds in between serks w 1 INT. I wouldn't be too surprised if I can get that down to Zero by the time I hit L140. Thanks, all!

It gives 1 to 5 mp per attack by chance and also increases your mp pool. +30 crt (15%crt damage and 10 crt rate) plus hate Isnt so bad either. the atk Isnt so good yet tho. I have a 2slot and use it just for currones. might be worth something on next upgrade since It can get to 200+atk.
