Hi all again. I have some more questions again as well. I am always curious when come to the perfect defense.
Now, we can super-refine until gears has +20def. Also +9 will give 9 equipment def per point from the formula we've known. So, it is possible to make 100 equipment def now. My question this time are listed below;
1) What is the max equipment def 95/99/100? I dont believe the game will allow 100 so. 2) We can prove the formula now. Can someone help me perfect the gear? And give me some awesome results. 3) Even though we can do 95 equipment def, should we are almost immortal? That is the interesting point here.
Thank you in advance for everyone.

I still believe that def doesn't matter much for paladins, they already take very low damage from normal attacks, maybe it's more useful for other classes. But good luck proving that physical immunity... it will cost a lot x.x

So, the equipment def would give me the almost immortal status, excepting I got hit by HP rate skill.

Yeah bosses like today's Laster will be a piece of cake (he was a piece of cake for me anyways...) he only does normal and magic attacks

Like Yazmat stated already DEF is actually not as useful for Paladins because they get so many free resistances already that it feels almost useless to stack it even further, maybe for bragging right though who knows. I have an autoskill set that I use for my Monk but can use for my Paladin too that basically heals me more than the damage I get and I have a 12% chance of taking any damage at all, on top of that when I get hit I have a chance to recover 20% maxmp. Combined with the innate tankiness of this class you are basically in godmode anyway, just the lack of RELIABLE and CONTINUOUS damage is what hurts this class. Yazmat is definetely correct, the big winners of this update are the semi-tanky and even squishy classes actually. Monk/Gladiator/Beast Knight will go into the godmode territory as well now and they have way higher DPS potential than Paladin does and they actually have better hate generation with their Geobreaker (can't speak for the other classes atm because I don't play them). However they won't be taking some of the tank spots due to Devotion which is a must have for some bosses if the party is not as geared as the tank. The squishy classes will benefit hugely as well because they won't die as easily if they happen to get hit now. All classes will be able to solo more now but we will see when the DEF damage reduction caps out because with certain equip it should be possible to reach a combined 100 DEF which would be broken for the game so I am almost 100% sure that there is a cap, we just have to find it out.

I think equipment def still useful, because players cannot do 95% physical resistance yet. However, we can do 95% from equipment def instead or maybe more. I just get so excited. Imagine, bosses who hit 100k will hit just less than 3k, including fortis and maybe more physical R. Because equipment def is not raise much status def, shell break will not go crazy.

Well a Bellow and Arelta up had already total of 50 def without super refinement Thank you for this info. What in my mind now are these gear below; Knuckle Shield up def10 Bellow of Order def25 Arelta up def22 Dodge charm def6 refinement def18 So, i will get 10+25+22+6+18=81. I need extra 14 for testing this 95 equipment def. It will take some time for sure. If you guys know any equipment give higher def than these, please let me know.

Iron armor+9 + seirge+9 + moon scimitar = 99 def... you will just need 1 super refinement ( too bad that sword is not released yet but pretty sure there is a colse replacement can't search right now)
