greetings, i am a returning player from years and years ago during the open beta. at the time i also played celes arca and am sad to see it was shut down i am very surprised this game is still alive! i was wondering if it would be worth getting into this game again, and maybe even if my beta account still has my items? also if theres any general things i should know that would be great the only thing i remember about the game was that i was doing a really unpopular build, i remember being some sort of archer and i put 100% of my stat points into critical attack chance.

Hi. You are more than welcomed to join [JehovahsChosen], it's a helpful guild. But we don't like moochers and excessive beggars. The problem is that my phone broke and therefore I'm not on. But if you spam in Rokkko, a officer might find you.
As for your build, I think archers/snipers use dex/crit/agi/ Crit never misses and it's double damamage. Dex increases damage by 1(*don't quote me) when using thimble. Agi increases attack speed and it's maxed at 256.
What level are you? There are many more Main Quests since last beta. No one does Naga or ATG(if you were around that lever) Or Hummers for that matter.
If you are below level 50 I suggest you go to Darfburg, go to Megaroaches, then ask to be power leveled until 50.
If you are above level 50, I suggest main questing and grinding on high ents if possible.
Hope this helped!

Hope this helped! 1stly, please don't encourage people to go mooch on megas, that is bad advice and an added irritant for those grinding out there. greetings, i am a returning player from years and years ago during the open beta. at the time i also played celes arca and am sad to see it was shut down i am very surprised this game is still alive! i was wondering if it would be worth getting into this game again, and maybe even if my beta account still has my items? also if theres any general things i should know that would be great the only thing i remember about the game was that i was doing a really unpopular build, i remember being some sort of archer and i put 100% of my stat points into critical attack chance. Now... Maaate, there's like,,,fkn lots ay, like we got 3 episodes now, at 3rd ep you get something called apostilia which allows you to over cap some of you stats and you have things called al xtal which you equip to stats instead of equip., in this field I think maybe talk to @famine or Altorm as they've done a few threads on this stuff and could give you some advice. You will find threads on this stuff in guides through tips and tricks Next is all the island stuff we chat if I believe correctly wasn't implemented back then. On islands you can place objects of varying elements to attract pets which will help you to fight, can heal you can revive you and can learn skills. If you buy a planter from the item shop you can also grow things on you island that you can use either for prod or for their own individual benefits as consumables. I believe lacs and Namitsuki would be the best people to talk to on this, you can find some threads they have made on this stuff under events, island, pets through tips and tricks. There's also star abilities which are attached to some equip that drop from bosses and depending on you needs can give an added advantage out in the field, now I'm not sure who to talk to on this but I'm pretty sure there's some threads on in guides. Pretty certain I'm forgetting some stuff but that's some of the basics of new stuff you mightn't know about yet so gl and happy hunting =)

I would try to get an idea of what class you wish to play as before building your character. Also take into account if you would mind using a Stefly's Book(800 Coins or about $8) after you level up to where a high level build works.
Kind of a general rundown of the classes: Warriors: Paladin-Pure Tank class. Just recently got a lvl 260 skill that hits ridiculously hard but takes 10+ seconds each hit. Can AOE Gladiator- Fairly high damage, really tanky as well. Has a tiny AOE Beast Knight- Incomplete class that is something between Gladiator and Paladin. Only has up to level 180 skills atm Sniper- Weak and hard to level until 240, then easiest class in game to level after that. Best AOE at 240 and top tier damage Assassin- Not the easiest to level, but not as bad as Sniper, does highest damage in game on a single target, no AOE
Mages: Bishop- The OP Healing class in game. Has an awesome AOE for leveling and production farming. Loved in parties Monk- Has two options for builds mainly, one of the best soloers or shares highest damage with Assassin Servant- Bishop who failed Bishop school. Main problem is that it's incomplete like Beast Knight. NO ATK SKILLS High Wizard- Noob friendly class, easiest class in game to level overall(not counting 240+ where they are still the top but not highest). Always welcome in parties almost as much as Bishop. This is your typical Wizard Class. Several AOE's Enchanter- Has two main builds it can go towards, one is a tank on par with Paladin but with no AOE, the other does fairly high single target damage but needs good gear to do well at all
Special: Ninja- This is 90% of Iruna. It's actually nothing special but Ninja. One of the best soloers though Samurai- Kind of a tank, kind of not. Does really really badly until high levels but is capable of awesome stuff Minstrel- Awesome class. It's a DPS/Support class capable of fairly high damage. Always welcome in parties
There's lots of builds for these classes on forums. There are videos for a lot of them too on youtube.

First of all, Hello and welcome back to Iruna ^-^ If it;s worth coming back to the game is something that only you can answer. It's an entirely subjective question. There is lots of new things, like bravebor said lots of new main quests, a level cap of lv 305, production, island and pets, apostolia, al crystas, new equipment and new upgrades for some old equipment, lots of new cities, new versions of old npc, new players, new classes, etc... About your beta account it might or might not be there anymore. Asobimo can delete your character after 6 months of not logging in, but they have been pretty lenient about that. The best general advice I can give to you is: do some reading of the threads here. Basically read about your class, gears, how to lv and support yourself, trace a game plan and make some new friends. Friends is the most important though, since they will be your greatest asset ( I cant count how many times i got help, advice and some gifts from my friends. Same goes for the other way around, giving advice, help and gifts to my friends). Your sniper build probably isnt that unpopular anymore. I think there are 2 popular sniper builds, auto attack AGI/CRT with special bow (atk raise from agi and crt) and the AR snipers DEX/STR/CRT (uses normal bow and spam skill) Here is a nice guide if you wanna continue with sniper: irunaonline.boards.net/thread/4480/simple-sniper-guide-3Hi. If you are above level 50, I suggest main questing and grinding on high ents if possible. Hope this helped! I think you got some things wrong here. That sniper build is reversed, unless you are going for an auto attack with normal bow build. Crit isnt double damage, it actually depends on how much crt you have and your critical damage +% gear and buffs. Minimal is 1.5 times your normal damage. At 300 crt it is 3 times your normal damage (not including crt dmg+%). Attack speed isnt maxed at 256, nor is it maxed at 256 agi. Max aspd for bows is 367 and its achieved at 168 agi for an adventurer. A sniper would need a bit less agi than that to max asp. For more details check this thread: irunaonline.boards.net/thread/15922/max-attack-speed-guide-detailsSome people do still do ATG, Naga, Hummer, Tigris, MIV, PTD, that quest in Pilaneza (forgot the name, but its the one you kill Nommar, Dammar and the other guy). It's true that many exp quests arent popular anymore, mostly because people are rushing mq, getting power leved, buying tickets (ticket users never really benefited from exp quests) or leveling through illegal means. But that doesnt mean that exp quests are dead, we should really encourage people to do them more often.

I don't see why it's bad advice but that's "OK."

I don't see why it's bad advice but that's "OK." You gave an uncommon build as what Snipers use, most nowadays actually use a DEX STR CRT build. DEX CRT AGI will actually do poorly in Endgame situations. Crits aren't double damage, but they can be but that's actually a low amount. Also doesn't apply to Arrow Rain or Crossfire(this is purely ATK based despite showing as a crit). Thimbles make Bows get 1 more ATK from DEX. So 3 ATK instead of 2. You gave advice that increases the problem with low level gameplay and encourages people to just leech off others. However with how broken the MQ system is it screws over anyone who wants to actually play the game instead of leech early on(it needs a level requirement IMO). Also Megaroches are awful now. They used to be good because their HP to EXP ratio was great and higher HP mobs just plain means faster leveling. However there are other options just as good but without the horrid spawn problem. Baum Warriors and Yarde are much better options. Yarde spawn is even bad as well but really its STILL not as awful as Megaroches lol.

I don't see why it's bad advice but that's "OK." This person is deciding whether or not to get back in the game and if he does, it sounds like he will want to play around with the new stuff there is since he last played, . The best bet to do that is to work from the ground up, do things like flame rockers and some exp quests so as to build up some alliances that will comfortably see him through for later just like Namitsuki said. Now if a new player goes out to megas or bw on advice to be lvld if they are with a guild, they will be entirely dependant on those people in guild as they have had that exp through hard begginers grinding to meet a bunch of people and end up like another forum member(whos name I currently forget) and only knowing people far who've their lvl which won't really get them anywhere or teach them anything and consequently not enjoying the game so much as they would otherwise with many good people that they have met grinding and doing exq quests along they way.

GOTO high level grinding maps and beg for exp = instant b!ock by players.
I still have BETA items but I don't use them, much better in game. Just start over with the main quest and see how you feel. So much in the game these days, its worth another look.
Good luck

Now idc that some people would think me selfish to refuse help to these people, but it is my belief that if 1 will pt on mq, they are better off doing so within their own lvl range, that way the exp of the fight is far more enjoyable and fulfilling. Generally the new players these days that spam invite or request at me, I will just simply blacklist them. I really don't care anymore.
