I'm a Lv191 hw trying to solo raton 2, but my HP is too low. This is what happens: Drain, paralyze, and blizzard, etc. until about 70% of raton's hp is left, then raton starts getting aggressive and hits me hard while my HP is low from debuffs. After that my HP is at about 2,000 and any hit from Raton knocks me out, then my pet has to revive me, then I have to heal myself, which is a very slow process. I've tried to kill raton 5 times today, but I've given up because I always time out. I've tried switching between tank and matk gear, but I just can't make it work. To make matters worse, most people looking for raton 2 pts are weak level 170-something that die easily

I "solo'd" my ninja lvl 185 IIRC with my pet on R2. After a few revives I got him. Don't give up. Time your attacks to right before your pet revives, this way you are revived without loss of too much time.

My h.wiz soloed raton doing this:
Farm some items such as high grade meat or whatever increased your max HP. That way you can counter the debuff raton gives you.
Run around so you never get hit by the yellow line thing. Running should also be used to cut down the # of attacks you take by making raton chase you instead of attacking. Mix that with paralyze.
Make use of your effects. Thor for blind(protects you against crits), paralyze(slows down the attack speed), burn (i forgot what this does but i think it reduces the enemy physical attacks and makes them take fire damage every so often )
Run and sit if you need to. A few people hate the idea, but ive proven its effectiveness while soloing. this works easiest on slow bosses and if you time the attacks of a boss while its paralyzed you should be able to break away from it. Use the time sitting to repair and rebuff yourself.
Doing all that should lead to a raton solo. Oh and since your low level you should use hp/skill delay gear since your already squishy. Dont worry to much about matk vs raton since h.wiz already has high damage.
Dont even worry about a pt during mq. Personally i feel they hold you back especially if they are not top notch (most of the players around 170 at raton mq are mq beggers that have crap gear and dont know much about the game. They cant hold themselves up). Mq is easiest solo especially if your not a super party reliant class to begin with.

Must take note of four "booms" too.
1. Irregular status infliction (poison, blind, paralyze, stun)
2. Hp delete
3. Mp delete
4. Debuff(debuffs everything you have, yeah worsrt part) - after this around 10% hp remaining, high def barrier is cast.
While doing your thing, try not stepping on the light beams going around everywhere, when hit you will get max hp decrease aside from the ongoing max hp decrease he casts, better bring vita plus, squid or octopus tentacles to cancel the effect.
