i see a lot of you are still figuring out about planters, i have a year with them, and have almost all the seeds posible (only need carrot seeds and watermelon seeds, if anyone have em, i buy), so, let me share what i know with you *the planter limit is 3 per account *the type of fertilizer does not affect the outcome of the plant, but, there is like a "leveling" effect to the plant, at first you will only get "plants" (which is what jeancarlo is getting) when harvesting lots of plants, your planter will start to give more kinds of plants, the "exp" of the planter is reset when you move it, try placing it in a permanent spot *there's an element that makes planters give more fruits and "lvl" faster, it's the non element attribute (tested and confirmed personally) i must add, that the non attribute is the better of all, because it raises the exp of the event pets (event pets are all non elemental and are 12.5% stronger than mob pets, again, tested and confirmed) and improves farming a lot *there's also an issue when having a lot of similar items on the same island, it counts as if you have less of them (example 3=3 but 21=4, and 8=4, but 90=9, confussed? if any one wants me to explain this, let me know how many are interested, i can tell you every island secret no one has told)

As shown with the last picture, even Fruit plants are giving me the same harvest as Grain plants

yes i know, you must "lvl it up" use the same fruit, vegetable or plant seed, and when it says "getting rape" then harvest it, the normal plant just gives some useless items, but if you dont harvest it, you get "less exp" so, make sure to harvest it when you can, and try using a high quality fertilizer, i use tasty water from the cavalry fort, from the little ghost, you'll see that from the third or fourth harvest, it will give fruits/vegetables depending on the seed you use, and depends on the non elemental items too, try adding 8 new year deco and 8 xmas cake B ( 8 is a magic number when placing items on island)

I will try that. I just want wheat, lol

wheat is really easy to get first, i suggest you that when you get it, let it whiter and then harvest it, that way you get the seeds and you are able to plant it again, if you use grain seeds it could give you wheat or rice or sorghum, if you get the seeds then you can harvest it without the chance of it not turning into wheat, that's what i do also if for some reason, some one gets carrot seeds or watermelon seeds, i will buy at high price, 1m for 1 seed of this ones i said, then i will complete my collection *-*

Also, he is having the issue that his harvests yield nothing at all. (By nothing I mean no fruits or desired harvest and no seeds of the desired plant.) He's tried wheat before and got nothing at all. I'm not sure what the problem is but we're trying to find out

i bought planters 2 weeks ago. hard to keep my plants from become withered . so anyone can confirm withered plants still have chance to produce harvests? or just dispose them and plant new seeds? Yes, withered plants do yield harvests. It is the only time that you can obtain seeds for that plant in particular so it is very helpful

of course I'd like to buy em just gime some time, I'm at work, and i said almost everything about planters, they need to be leveled up (the game works like that, it won't give you everything at first, it will take time) only thing left to say is about the island item multiplier, it's a little difficult to explain: *when you place items in the island, some attributes raise, but the number of items is multiplied depending on the total number of items, i have a list that goes from 1 to 128 items, and determined the most efficient way to place items, I'll just tell you the first ones 1=1 2=2 3=3 8=4 17=5 20=6 this way, when you place 20 mini haniwa, it will only be worth as 6 times its element (2 earth x 6= 12) but if you try using 21, it will be less, it will be worth 4 times every time you try placing island items, try to follow the list i just mentioned, i suppose everyone wants to know why it's worth less, there's a hidden multiplier 20*0.3=6 21*0.2=4.2 (always rounded down)= 4

from the item number 31 and above, the multiplier is worth 0.1
31 mini haniwa x 0.1= 3 times 2 earth= 6 earth
it affects pet exp, planters, and rate of spawning pets

optimizing island items is the key to everything, i get 12 fruits from my planters each, everyday when i water them, that way i can make the best foods that require fruits, for example, stacks of melon jelly (cast time -18% for 10 minutes)

You say the multiplier is calculated with the total number of repeated objects while i always thought it was applied to groups and them added. Example: 21 wok (wok value is fire+1) Calculation your way: 21 x 0.2 = 4.2 (round down to 4) Calculation i thought: (3 x 1) + (2 x 0.7) + (4 x 0.5) + (2 x 0.4) + (9 x 0.3) + (1 x 0.2) = 10.1 (round down to 10) I haven't really had the time to test it, so i can't say witch way is correct, just wanted to throw it out there in case you have tested both calculations or haven't considered it.

i tested it, it does not work as you said, i remembered placing 37 white flowers (i love those flowers *-* )
first i placed 20, i wanted lots of Flowers, those was the first coin items i bought, and got a roar, then i feed it, and got like 20 exp on some stats, then i tried to put lots more, and bought 17 more, the exp gained decreased to almost half, from that moment i started to search info about it, now i get from 140 to 250 exp each stat on my pet events using fancy pet food

All yield plant seends and plant harvests
