ok, so i was trying to get onto this forum today and at first i couldnt enter it because it said my I.P address was banned but after a couple of tries I finally got in, so I am asking has anyone ever received this error before and also what could have been the cause because i heard that this happens to spammers,but i am no spammer and love this forum so I a m just wondering what happened.

This happened to me as well, I think it's because proboards monitors the ip addresses coming in and out of the system, if you have made multiple accounts with the same ip address, it flags it and the proceeds to ban it from the systems. However sometimes like when it happened to me, it's just purely accidental

ahhh, i think i understand what you mean, but when it happened i was freakin out because i thought i would never be able to read forum again.

I usually give people a warning or 2 before they are banned (and it's usually for 2 weeks-life)
