I was so hyped once I saw Necromancers summoning a literal Susanoo. Once I realized Mana Wave spam has higher DPS... (ō_ō) When I use my Necromancer, I just pretend the new skills do not exist. i use Revenant Pierce because at least it doesnt negatively impact dps

a part of me wonders if i should've seen melee-necro coming, what with the throwing passive, the poison and the initial reliance on physical skeleton damage in the early days. i don't even play anymore and the disappointment i feel now that necromancer isn't the magic class i hoped it was is still palpable.

I think everyone has a similar opinion to you. Maybe that's why Asobimo is discouraged with the Balance Patch haha

Idk if melee necro was the best idea, but what’s the other option, make it more like hw? 😂 I don’t think that’s actually in the right direction neither.

Soooo... anyone actually read the reply from developers on OP? It's pretty clear in that reply that the players are the reason for the delay and I honestly have to agree with them on this one. Complaining about how weak or poorly made some of the new skills are is like how magic autoskills got hit with a nerf to better balance things out. Maybe, just a very VERY big maybe, they should just nerf every skill damage to match the newer ones? No big damaging old skills means new skills have a chance of actually being worth using and the so-call "Meta" isn't just a bunch of DPS parties. High Wizards and the post-balance Enchanters are probably the only two classes that I can say have been balanced. Spammable skills should have a decrease in damage, high damaging skills requiring at a fixed minimum one second cast delay and/or cooldown, songs should have the fixed percentage of MP to use or a fixed cooldown, etc etc. With how things are as to how the "Meta" parties are organized it wouldn't be surprising if they just one day gave all mobs/bosses 100x more HP just to make it seem harder, you must all love fighting sponges.
Asobimo gave us the best they could very early on which caused the game to fall into this predicament where new skills and equipment can't match up to what we already have. At least they are trying to figure things out instead of shutting down the whole game.
At the end of the day, we the players ARE the problem.

At least they are trying to figure things out instead of shutting down the whole game. At the end of the day, we the players ARE the problem. this is the most delusional thing i've ever read. I don't want them to 'try and figure things out'. I want them to figure things out. If the delay is caused because the players didn't like the rebalance, then maybe they should deliver a good rebalance in the first place, and then players won't be upset. I'm doubtful that they have any devs who have knowledge of how classes are played at max level, because they give Bishop a Goddess Bless, when Enchanter is the class that needs a Goddess Bless to make them playable against the last 5 MQ bosses that have debuffs. The new Ench skills only support 4 Ele Ench, so every Dark Ench player can't use them, and every Ench player is a Dark Ench because Asobimo made Dark the only viable build. Even if they made Origin 5 6 7, along with letting the new skills support Dark Element, I probably wouldn't use them, because it's an extra 2-3sec of casting support skills, and the wind proc of Enchant Weapon is very important for dealing a paralyze to the enemy to half their attack speed (& Enchant Weapon will bias more towards a wind proc if you Origin Wind). But they don't have an Enchanter player, so they don't know these things. They have done unannounced nerfs to Alchemists Slv4 (e.g. poison base damage +242 -> +220 per INT/DEX, burn base damage +649 -> +590 per Blacksmith Lv), so they are perfectly capable to nerfing old skills if they are too strong. It's not a complicated process either. As for nerfing items, they would just have to edit the servers itemmaster.sql text file (e.g. if they decided Linen Cloth noup was too powerful, they can change its source code of " set bHPrecov = 10; set bMPrecov = 10; set bHit = 10; end;"And yes, I think they should give bosses more HP, as nightmare mode encounters, which is what Toram does. Against a high level party, the hardest boss (s450) lasts 50 seconds, and has like a 1% droprate for Chest, and 0.1% droprate for AI. A nightmare mode of s450 could last 5 minutes, and have a 10% droprate for Chest, and 1% droprate for AI. fighting 10 strong sponges for a high reward % is much better than fighting 100 weak sponges for basically no reward. Lv400 Anniversary Team O is the only party fight that is difficult enough to be considered a 'nightmare mode'. And the reason why bosses are sponges is because they don't know what kind of combat system they want. They can't make boss attacks interesting, because a boss is just an autoattack vending machine, with multiple mechanics that their autoattack can trigger. They can't lean into the action-combat design (e.g. red carpet attacks that we have to avoid), because we cannot fluidly move during attacks, casts, & post-cast animations. They could solve this by letting us move during attacks and cast-times (melee autoattack classes could be given a Range+ skill with some downsides, and classes other than BK should be given a 'gap-closer' skill), and then create more action-combat mechanics, such as field mechanics that need to be avoided, like the Joshuca fight. But then while you're running all over the map to dodge the field mechanics, bosses would have to strictly follow you to be able to attack you, but for Joshuca they fixed that by giving Joshuca's different attacks a huge Range value (8, 8, 12, 24, 12, 8, 30, 70). They have developed a lot of field mechanics throughout the game, so they could just re-use them, and slightly adjust the numbers when neccessary. That way, bosses won't just be sponges.

Will they make some adjustments for the released new skills? Or they'll left it as it's now.
I would be very dissapointed if they're not remake or adjust necro's demon skill tho.

That could mean 5 months from now Well...when they put a black and white photo that said "coming soon" for the second page, the buffs/nerfs were shown the next day..So it shouldn't take long. #MakeHWGreatAgain

For auto monk, well...I think they are slightly above the average of autoatk (melee) jobs, but no reason to nerf :/

sounds like an asobimo problem, and not a player problem. I don't care about their issues. they should stop having issues, and then make content for their game. Sounds easy enough. O R I S I T?
