I saw something weird happen yesterday.
I was farming some stuff and the spawn rate of the mobs there are pretty terrible because there's rarely people on the same map. Then this summoner dude came along and started attacking the mobs I was fighting. He repeatedly used a certain skill. I know nothing about summoners so I can't say what skill but it looked something like provoke, only that the skill effect was appearing around the mob.
For some reason, every time he attacked the mob with that skill, exactly 2 more mobs will appear right next to the mob he was fighting. They won't be attacking him though. Afaik summoners don't have aoe right? (correct me if I'm wrong) And he was only fighting 1 mob at a time so I'm pretty certain he wasn't chain spawning it.
Initially I was wondering why there were suddenly so many of them. Then I started noticing how they were all spawning from that dude. I tried mailing him and asking him if he knew what was happening but he ignored meh :/
But I'm really curious what was happening, hence this post.

Its not a bug. Its normal. I think its how the devs settle what happens when two players target the same mob at the same time, duplicates them.
Just my theory tho

Just my theory tho Ah I know what you mean but that's not what happened. We weren't fighting the same mob. And I even stopped doing anything for quite awhile to watch it happen o.o
