So yesterday someone make a gc hiring for bota kill mq. Its been an hour or so the gc had been up and seems there is no one volunteer so i decided to go. So after bota kill,guy just ditched on me..
Also yesterday,a gc made asking to value glacies ns dark blessing So i came in said 'if its ns probably would not worth to much', got told to fukc off and he leave..
Also yesterday a 'newbie' ask for item so i gave a ceduro and an ns boo. A few moment later,it showed up on stall-i recognize it by the ability it has and how recent it was. And the gc still up for few hour after that..
I mean people,really..and the community say higher lvl/veteran players refuses to help..

That's why I ask for a payment if somebody asks me for help.
That might seem like so egoist, but, I've played long enough for knowing that like 90% of "Newbies" are mother****ers who want easy help for their new low level alts.
Or simply real newbies that think you owe something just because they are "weaker" than you, or because they are new.
And the rest 10%, are truly a bunch of sweets hearts which I'd would help without hesitate.

i didn't have an experience as bad as op's, but once i helped someone figure out how to change class and do a bunch of other stuff like where to go, who to fight, who are the npcs, the maps, etc. i brought him around different maps to show him how to do certain stuff. i remembered his ign because we mailed each other when i saw him asking for help. i also remember his profile so i'm certain it was him when i met him again. (we didn't add each other as friends) i asked him how he was since i had helped him a few days earlier. he just said i didn't help him and that he didn't know me then refused to answer me. at that time, we were talking in Say chat so i just left him alone afterwards. also, it was pretty obvious he was leeching off of someone then. i just hope that fella helping him does get the recognition they deserve.

I remembered when I was still lvl108 back in 2017 (I was that lvl for a LONG time) and I was grinding for cash in the raid. When I was done someone was going around fort bailune begging EVERYONE. I had 30m on me (back in the days that amount could get you some good equips) but I was busy trying to head to the academy event, then I got a random party invite and naive me accepted it like a retarded person. He asked me for 1m and I gave it to him out of sympathy and he called me a loser then tp the fack outta there.
Lvl348 now and was cruising through iruna recently with 400m in my pocket then I got a random party invite and I DENIED. Never again helping a "noob". These duche bags ruined it for the rest and it ain't the OGs faults.

Tips to find Newbie:
1. Low lvl
2. Farming Lava Rocker, Warm, or Dark Warrior,
3. All low lvl generic gear (Beginner sword, rod, bow)
4. Low lvl member- party.
how to help them,
1. if they are farming, ask for pt, and help them farm, not asking something else.
2. if their gear is beginner set or other newbie equipment
just mail an useful (One) item, dog glove ns, spoon ns, boo ns, or slotted if you rich and leave.
everyone thats i helped this was
sometimes reply my mail "arigatou" and sometimes they just farm with their new equipment.
Last Tips: Do "not" Helping Beggar.
No Drama, No hurtfeeling, Nothing.

I still help with MQs, but I typically don't go much further than that. Nub or not, everyone does need some help from time to time. I take it as an opportunity to keep my skills sharp with Necro, and flex a bit.
If you go into helping people with the mindset of getting something back, whether it be gratification or money, you're gonna end up disappointed. It sucks, but you just can't allow the idiots to affect you.
Just remember, if you're taking time out of your day to help someone, even if they're an absolute douche about it, you still did a good thing.

I realize everyone on this forum seems to argue over the smallest things and I also realize I wasn't 100% clear, but I was farming rockers at the time. I never said where I was. |

so if you on farming something i usually do not give item, i just give help to farm.
