hi, I'm a new player and wondering what I should focus on.
i'm level 61 and doing MQ but reached "Witch's Honor" where I need a Gold Fragment. This boss is level 99 so I'm guessing I have to grind until level 100.
For grinding,
I leveled from 50-61 at flame rockers/lava area but it's getting quite slow now. I am very weak and they take 5-7 hits to kill.
So I'm thinking I need better equipment.
My gear is
Beginner Sword, Black Iron Armor, etc. all from Level 1.
I went through all of the items from the Iruna Database. All of the low level swords and armors are worse than the Beginner ones, until level 106 where I can get a Scimitar from mobs. My next "Additional Equip" is the White Ribbon (+2% attack), but I cannot go there (Dark Castle) until I progress in MQ.
Questions:
Is there another way to get weapons/gear? Or do I just have to grind until level 100+ to farm my own gear from mobs and use Beginner Gear the whole time?
I read about Smithing but the guides confuse me. Will becoming a Smith help me make new weapons? Can I make a stronger weapon than the Beginner Sword NOW by being a Smith?
Is this normal? What would you do?

You can buy good gear from others, but you have to have a lot of spina which I doubt any beginner has. Otherwise, yes you just have to farm mobs and bosses in order to get the gear you want. If someone is feeling generous, you can also get some decent beginner gear for free as well.
You can make gear from any of the Crafting Skills, in fact if you can level them all you can have access to some of the best gear in the game, but most wouldnt recommend you to work on any of them early game either as they all need very high commitment, at times need you to be strong enough to collect the mats for recipes, and will eat your spina alive.
Most people host group chats looking for low levels to level them for free until Lv100 or some Lv around there. I would join one of those so I can get a free head start on everything. If the group chat has "3i" in it then find a β
Maios tp (Most guilds have that set as their guild tp so join a guild if you havent already) and hopefully they can lead you to the 3i (Third Eyes) mobs. If a group chat has "MG" in it then you can buy and β
Roye Underground Church at the Rokoko Merchant, it should be affordable for you if you have farmed enough spina from mobs/bosses. From there it's a straightforward path to the MG (Moss Golem) mobs.

Okay so first all you gotta do is
1: Join a guild!
2: try to buy Roye underground tp(town portal) rokoko merchant and go to that area and go next map! ( Or ask guildmates)
3: After try to do mq till you kill halios or Wizaleon! (If u can't beat the boss ask for help in group! Most people are willing to help you)
4: after u kill them join some raids (raid sofya 100/120/140) there u can get many strong items which can sell for 100k to 100m if lucky! Approximately I can get like 700k pc item from just one round and the item is not even rare it's an uncomon!
5: after u get ur gears now ur good to go!
(U can be lvl 320 just by doing mq) but it will be hard for u.
6: "stats are important" so what job are you?
If ur a mage don't put Str or Crt. What's ur future class? Think and see guides , take everything slowly! Enjoy the game iruna is big and fun , I miss my newbie days even! Ur a lucky guy

U can find guild at iruna easily as many people always recruit Menu>community>group>guild section and there! And yes they do have 250+ monster (300+ btw, surprised?) But some monster don't agro u especially that place so chill |

If your lv.99 boss is Dragon Kaiser, you donβt have to survive and defeat that boss as in the story, it doesnβt matter for the explorer to be defeated by Kaiser.

I ended up leveling there until level 70 (and got a 2 slot lava guard), got the fire sword from the boss, and a black reaper.
then i went to willows in sophia, just need to figure out where to sell my broken staffs. lol. no luck on guilds yet...!

1. Easiest way to get Gold Fragment is to buy it xD. Check stall for it's price. It could be super low. I sold mine for 10k a piece
2. Check iruna-online.info . It's a website that has all mobs, their drops, etc. It's not super well done. It's not really ALL mobs, a few are missing, but, it can help you a LOT
for example, you go to that website, write Gold Fragment. Choose the item when it shows in your list. It will tell you every mob that drops it
EDIT: I saw you know about this website. Sorry for mentioning it xD. You can still do step 3 tho
3. Another way to get Gold Fragment that I do quite a while on my alts. You can buy a teleport to Kleya City, or walk till there. Nearby there are some mobs called Leopard. They drop Gold Fragment too. I always had mage classes tho. For mages they deal 1 dmg. I dont know how it is as a warrior

As a contributor I gotta mention our website irunawiki.com
If you ever get lost or confused on how to get to a place then look it up in the search at the very top under the search bar select map and it will give a list of places with similar names. If you click see map it will take you to a list of how the maps go in order based on in-game portals, if you click on "map" it will take you to a visual map as long as your in ep 1-5, we don't have ep 6 or event maps yet.
If you check out our menu you will notice a guides section, we have info on anything from ailments, apostolia, classes, refinement, element, abilities, etc
If your on android we made a bubble app that works over iruna like FB messenger but it doesn't log you out or anything. It's not out on Google play store so you will have to download directly from website
If you feel like something is broken, there is a feedback button on the bottom right corner. No it does not mention what page you are currently on or can we use it to message back. People keep leaving feedback that is vague and assume we know what they are talking about.

Upgrade ur iron armor and weps at the local black smith play the game a lilβ¦ just getting all the good equips and rushed will lead to a very boring game quick π hope u have fun tho!
