Wow. Nice answer. Lighten my curiosity alot tyvm. Oh 1more thing lol. Below quoted from t 3rd answer " In a recipe that normally makes x1, but can great success x2 or x3, making a x3 is extremely unlikely, but having a higher level than the recipe will also greatly increase the great success raTe. with a high enough rate, u will be doing all x3 " Whats t value difference between prod lvl than recipe lvl that started to gv x3 item quite reliably kinda >80%or90% (if base is x1 item) ? maybe these videos can be some kind of reference. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdKN1xTpZxc+75 levels above recipe = 2.2x on average (destroying an average of 4 sets. if 0 destroyed, 2.3x on average) www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9W1B0XW080+100 levels above recipe = 2.45x on average (destroying an average of 7 sets. if 0 destroyed, 2.6x on average) So I guess, if you were +125 levels above the recipe, you'd be x3 great successing most of the time. At this point, you could start replacing some melee to neutral gear for other melee to element gear that will boost your success rate. Ideally; with AI, consumable boosts, and (most importantly) production relics, you wouldn't be failing much at all. I didn't have most of these in the videos. when you're above +150 levels, anything other than x3 great success is either impossible, or extremely hard on an asymptote approaching impossible. This can be problematic, if u wanted to make Chocolate [mat for Mokkaparat] (great success makes handmade choco instead) Black/Blue/Green/Red/White/Yellow Gem [mat for beads & skill quests] via "x2 great success of ____ Raw Stone" (x1 success is rock. x2 great success is the Gem. x3 great success is a different item) Masamune [mat for Shinuchi variants](great success makes Muramasa instead, which is useless From my old testing, I found that my Alchemist was incapable of making Gems (185 levels above recipe), and incapable of making Chocolate (140 levels above recipe), probably because it's a x2 great success (the recipe has no "x3 great success") As for Masamune, I had to train 96 smithing on an alt. And I've never made a Muramasa on that character. Also, I don't actually know if melee to neutral affects the great success rate, but it's widely believed that it does. I'm pretty sure that it does.

are ther no sets for cooking or u wont need it? food for life I think melee to neutral gives a portion of great success rate on all prod. From the spoiler above, thers no set for melee to water. So i guess melee to water (wind element weapons) is for cooking.

i didnt bother with cooking success set, cause it's trained entirely by failset.
If you wanted a success set, i guess it would be something like..
Trishula II ♢Sturm Trash ♢Sturm Failwind ♢Celawinos
Spec ♢Spool Secret Production Book
▲ Storm of Doom, Dym, Spikeleon, Meelis, Sauro II
Storm Breath, ele drink

Updated. Make sure to get Dark Helm (up), Silver Mail (up), and any Tower xtals you need.
New additions since last update
Fleurselman (up) Melee to Wind+38%
Failwind (up) Melee to Wind+17%
Burning Clapper (consumable) Melee to Fire+10%, Melee to Dark+10% may have the same buff name as Flint
For relics, Hortes has the first uncommon+fragment combination that gives Melee+1% AND Magic+1%. This basically obsoletes every other boss for the purpose of relic farming. As always, great game design from Asobimo.
