Done some test. Here the data i collect. I used lots of greenish meat for self blind (0 c.rate)
Char lvl 292 CRT 329 self stat
Equipped with blast claw (melee up by = (Lv+CRT)(Lv+DEX))
White damage 5.2 ~ 5.3k
Orange damage 13.4 ~13.6k
Okay lets follow ur c.dmg formula. Equipped with
1 wyn on claw 1 wyn on armor (20% c.dmg or treated as 20 c.dmg)
D.mail reup (12% c.dmg or treated as 12 c.dmg, +10 CRT)
CRT3 on add (+3 CRT)
Extra *15% melee pierce* idk if melee pierce is involved in c.dmg of auto atk.
Critical damage = [White Physical Damage - Melee] × [1.5 + (CRT ÷ 200) + Percentual Critical Damage] + (Melee)
Lets take highest value of white and orange damage data i've gathered. (5300 white 13600 orange)
Critical damage = [5300-292-329] x [1.5+(342/200) + (35%)] + (292+329)
Critical damage = [4679] x [1.5 +(1.71) +(0.35) +(621)
Critical damage = [4679] x [3.56] + (621)
Critical damage =16657.24 + 621
Final critical damage = 17728.24 critical damage
The value of orange damage based from this calculation is far from what i gathered in game.
If based from rebalance patch c.dmg new formula statement
DI = 50 + Critical damage from equipment % + Critical modifiers % + (Equipment CRT + Status CRT (only when not paralyzed) / 2
Critical Damage = Damage + (Damage * DI / 100)
Critical Damage is at least
At here i add some value and remove some value from the formula it become like this
DI% = 150 +[ Critical damage from equipment % ]+ [Critical modifiers % ] + (Equipment CRT + Status CRT (only when not paralyzed) / 2
Critical Damage = (Damage * DI%)
DI%= 150 +[ 12(d.mail) + 20 (2 wyn) +3 (cordal a.l) ] + [0 (no critical modifier with skill)] + [10 CRT from d.mail reup +3 CRT from Lv3 CRT abi + 329 Status CRT] (only when not paralyzed) / 2
Critical Damage = Damage + (Damage * DI / 100)
DI%= 150+ [35] + [0] + [342] / 2
DI%= 527 /2
DI%=263.5
Critical damage = [damage - melee] x DI%
Critical damage = [5300 -621] x 263.5%
Critical damage = 4679 x 263.5%
Critical damage = 12329.165 + 621 (melee)
Final critical damage =12950.165
This value is much more closer to my data (13.4 ~13.6k). Idk where this extra 600+ dmg comes from. Idk if this is accurate and this is my guess. Melee pierce is involved in auto atk c.dmg, not only in skill, autoskill and high def/barrier
Lets return to the critical damage + melee part *this might sounds stupid lol*
Critical damage = 12329.165 + 621 + [melee x melee pierce]
Critical damage = 12950.165 + [ 621 x 115% (100 base pierce, 15 additional pierce from vatendeth) ]
Critical damage = 12950.165 + 714.15
Critical damage = 13664.315 (similar to my data)
Just a wild guess before final calculation u will add these 2
Melee (comes from equips, crysta, abi, food and fixed)
Melee pierce (total melee multiplied by melee pierce% = [value from equips+100 base pierce ])
Update: Do some test between no spec and iron tsuba (-20% melee pierce) ** to counter my +15% melee pierce from vatendeth a.l **
My guess is right. The white damage still 5.2 ~ 5.3 k. So melee pierce does not involved in normal damage. Only in c.dmg final calculation
