I love playing iruna and I love making theories about it, this is just a theory where I find the value of Spina if it was a real currency not just an in-game currency and to do that i had to set certain criteria: - since the game is Japanese the prices will be compared to japan's prices - the prices used will be shop prices because they are official and constant - the items need to be available in and out of the game now the only objects that fit those criteria are food items like milk, meat, chicken wings, etc because they fit all the criteria. pickaxes cant be used because it's a single use item unlike pickaxes in the real world. diamonds and ores cant be used either because we aren't given their sizes or purity. most of the foods sold cant be used either since we aren't given a quantity to work on like the shop sells milk for 70 Spina but doesn't tell us if its a liter or a gallon, the only item which fits the criteria and has a given quantity is.... CORN!! I'm joking its eggs. we are given that an egg in iruna cost 50 spina, an average dozen of eggs in Japan cost ¥289 according to www.expatistan.com/cost-of-living/country/japan289/12= ¥24.083333333 per egg so on 4th of January 2019 1 spina would be equivalent to 50/24.0833333333= 2.0761245675¥ convert that to us$ and 1spina=0.019$ to get the value of spina on any specific day just check the price of an egg dozen divide it by 12 and divide 50 by the price of one egg in Japan. this theory is just for fun and i hope u like it and enjoyed reading it : ) i had fun making it and wanted to share this fun with everyone else tell me if you agree with it and any possible things i missed while researching this

So if 1 spina is equivalent to 0.019 USD, then...
"Selling 1b spina for 1.9m USD I am AFK just mail me."
Ez ban, but ez Lamborghini. Lol!
PS: I am not promoting this kind of stuff.

It's worthless, spina is just a random integer, data on a server that will one day close.

Reminds me of Log Horizon in S2 when they explain the theory on how you get gold from mobs.

It's worthless, spina is just a random integer, data on a server that will one day close. I mean money is also worthless but we applied a value to it by backing it with seemingly rare metals. Now they have asobi coin which is backed by bit coin which is back by gold (I know it's not in iruna but making a point) so I mean is it truely worthless o.o

It's worthless, spina is just a random integer, data on a server that will one day close. By that logic, wouldn't every kind of virtual item be worthless, since one day the environment in which it exists will disappear? You could even say that real life objects are worthless too, since they will one day naturally disintegrate. I think the keyword here is: experience. If spina is able to give players a better experience in a certain period of time, then that means that it has some value.

You can actually buy spina "legally" from Asobi Market. Or other in game currencies for Asobimo games. Though it's new and was introduced recently, so give it some time to settle down properly.
