Hallo-hallo! ^^ I'm a semi-newbie player and I don't think that Iruna Online is dead. I was originally a Toram Online player and just started playing Iruna Online days before the month of October 2021 come, after receiving the news of the termination of 32-bit support on Toram Online. I come to play Iruna with the aim to know the Iruna past before the Cataclysm happened in Toram Online. The first time I set my foot on Fort Bailune, I realized that the game was not classless compared to Toram Online. So, as someone who had bad experienced and regrets in STAT DISTRIBUTION in Toram Online, I searched for forums where I can learn about the game's Damage Calculation and possible hidden stats and gladly discovered this site. Someone suggested me to choose the FINAL CLASSS where I would like to end up; and have decided to go for Assassin instead (cause I'm somewhat familiar to Backstab skill). Looking for the Assassin guide in this forum, I saw Ravitox Ravioli's post about Backstab Assassin guide, which is very helpful and I really used it as a basis for building my Assassin! ^^ When I went to look up for the equipments in NPC blacksmith and the stalls in Chat the Merchant, the prices of the equipments are really shocking. There are a lot of players in Rokoko City I should say, and almost all of em sell millions and hundreds of million spinas! I asked my friend about that and he told me that a million spina in Iruna Online is still very low to consider yourself rich which makes it more challenging to me as a newbie and kinda discouraged me, a little. XD While I was just 3 days playing the game and was asking for some people to tell me the leveling spot to reach my character to level 50, someone, out of the blue, traded me 200M spinas!!! It really helped me to buy the equipments stated on the Backstab guide; and it was also the reason why I keep moving forward on MQ! ^^ So, yeah, I made a plan to build my Assassin and it was suggested in the Backstab Assassin guide to go for Apprentice Summoner (not fully-fledged Summoner) first, to level all the way through Lvl 240, to unlock Sicarius, and also to consistently move on for MQ (it has been said that it can solo almost all bosses in-game)! When I was stucked fighting Lipka and Barafu in MQ, my very first Iruna friend helped me and told me about the Pet system where I can summon pets to revive me whenever I died, which is a very valuable information that I would have as a newbie! Also, when I was still a Hunter and stuck at the MQ crab-looking boss (forgot the name) which is a dragon actually, it gave me a hard-time to stop the MQ and look for ways to level my character to Level 140. Through asking some people in Sofya City, someone answered me and lead me to the Roye Church's Underground. There I discovered the system's leveling boosts for low level character/class (even though I really prefer to level up with my own efforts). So...yeah, I was able to level my character all the way to level 140 and change class to Apprentice Summoner. Reaching the MQ boss Anis, I was Level 240, and from there on, I became a fully-fledged Assassin! As for the game's storyline, IT IS A MASTERPIECE!!!! (☆-☆)/
So, with all that being said, what I'm trying to say is that I think the game is still not dead. There are still some new people who play this game for the story, WHICH IS SOOO EPIC! I'm currently on Book 6 now; and few MQs left, I will be able to reach the latest MQ. My journey in MQ is very consistent. There were bosses like, Blaiard (when I was newbie), Raton, Gate Guard, Leviam, Anis (when I was newbie Assassin), Gate Keeper, Alan, and Joshuca which were I couldn't defeat if I wouldn't look for pt. Group Chat is very useful also for newbies to find pt. There are still lots of generous people who will help newbies. If newbies are only lead to these forums for guides and to know other related stuff like Pet system, leveling boosts, etc. , I think they will do well in-game.

It's not really "dead," just that a lot of veteran players have things irl to take care of or found that they've no longer have anything to do on there. I personally take breaks, sometimes month long breaks, because of such reasons. Like most MMOs, the most talked about topic usually revolves around class builds and such. Find one you like, whether it be for soloing or party. Just remember that it's still a RPG where it can be really fun playing with others too. I've built my characters, Paladin and Enchanter, around that and it's been such an amazing experience. If you'd ever feel like just running around killing or gathering things using the Group Chat system is always there to make the time more enjoyable, sometimes, by allowing interactions between you and other players. Have fun and enjoy your time here.

For me, its the people, not the game. People in the game is dead. Back then gc in convo is quite lively. But now all i see is lv this n that or buy this or that even in convo tab. Kinda hideous for me. Iruna used to be fun eventho if ur weak.

As a guy who always solo with sin and ench and never join gc much this game still the same as it was 3-4yrs ago. I do take constant long break bcuz most of my char are lvl cap with almost end gears. Honestly I do feel like the contents of game is much better than it was before. Honestly just enjoy the game and contents I guess. There are no other perfect mmo like Iruna and toram anyway. (#auto bs self play mmo)
