Some of my favourite bosses to farm like larkas (ldh) have become less than convenient.
Worse still is auto attacking mobs like yarde abs 3i.
Oh I digress sorry my point was the bosses with the mp delete means no mp to use desperate move and u can't spam pots cos it's not just a one second delete it continues so anyway I'd like to publicly state my absolute objection to the fact that clones disappear when out of mp.
Sure I'm OK with them draining it that's fair but being mp empty and with no way to recast is.. Well.. Its cheating..
It's not cricket.
Anyway does anyone know if minus mp consumptions gears etc lower the rate clones consume mp?

I believe the whole point of the clone change was to make ninja a less effective tank, i cant say having 0 mp eliminate clones is unfair since summoner (yet to be released) has the same issue. except they get no buff to eliminate it, and their summons have a significantly higher mp drain effect.
As for -mpc gear, its set at 1% your maximum mp, any lower than that would remove the mp drain mechanic for the most part, and i doubt asobimo would allow that. Ill wait for ninjas to test however before stating for a fact or not

oh btw it not just mp delete boss that i find difficult -- the debuff and delay up is also annoying --- i can solo agira and cordal on magic ninja now but that delay and buff wipe got a 50% chance of killing me -- delay making my mp drain faster than i can recover with thick remagic >,<

Ikr it deletes faster than any pot spam and I'm a pretty nifty fingered player but it's just not gelling.

There's a reason why ultimi up is yet costly.
Use ultimi as main armor and spam potions.

This has also been a problem for me, especially when I farm sauro (I can't one shot yet). So far, here's what I've done against mp wipe/drain:
• for mp wipes, I try to remember when it happens, and use pots when it does then reclone. Against bosses like noid (healing up debuff = pots useless), I use desperate move before it happens for the mp regen buff. I plan to use an eva set for these situations.
• for bosses with continuous mp drain, I use desperate move whenever I can. If that isn't safe, I use powerful ring (mp-40% for lv<200). It lessens the burden quite a bit, but the level limit means it's not a permanent solution. I just saw some -mp consumables and they might be worth trying out.

Now I cant farm veltria with infinite mp ninja trick again xD. I must oneshoot her or I will die because that 0 mp & buff delete.

I don't even use that mp regeneration buff. Lol
I just don't feel the need of using it.
It reduces dps altogether.
It's easy to 1 shot veltria, though I don't farm it.
I farm almas.
For almas I don't need to use potions and mp regeneration buff is not required either.

I didn't try larkas yet but i don't even notice MP drains/cut from bosses like Glabora with it >.> Btw, make a MaxMP set, not Auto/MP recovery set, it doesn't work OTL yeah i was making one --- so far Mirror Rod FMA clean ---using the mp bonus from strug since i still couldnt find mirror robe MA sellers farfalla final up int+7 skr ns 22k mp -- 220 mp per sec have to reapply domi twice to gain at least half of my current mp on dmg set ---- 8k mp --although im also thinking of mixing in item recovery so i can fill the gap with 1 t.rem and will just need 1 domi to get full mp on jutsu set .... acting like a hw again with all this mp set >,< p.s for ep 4 up bosses i burn my mp really fast xD --- really need someone to tank for me so the mp consumption of the clones wont trigger >,< |

If she is she must have a good mdef, my Raiton isn't doing as much dmg as it should, it surprised me last time, poof byebye clones OTL luckily she was paralyzed so i had time to use Yin>Es>Domi (u should try it out when she puts you at 1 mp + debuff if you didn't yet, pretty useful sincr it both heals hp and make clones) |

yeah i was making one --- so far Mirror Rod FMA clean ---using the mp bonus from strug since i still couldnt find mirror robe MA sellers farfalla final up int+7 skr ns 22k mp -- 220 mp per sec have to reapply domi twice to gain at least half of my current mp on dmg set ---- 8k mp --although im also thinking of mixing in item recovery so i can fill the gap with 1 t.rem and will just need 1 domi to get full mp on jutsu set .... acting like a hw again with all this mp set >,< My dps set has like 16k mp so i do just fine OTL I'd def have to try some annoying mp delete bosses, but i always carry a few dango stacks so i'm kinda always good with it + mp regen >< high mp only works if i use domi everytime the 10 sec buff ends --- but based on experience with my current gears .. i only got enough time to reuse domi before the buffs ends >,< ---- and when domi ends --- with 16k mp ---3 clones thats 480 mp per sec o.o guess ill just need to live with the fact that ill have to press too many keys since i chosed this job wahaha |
