If you want to play as an alchemist your going to end up with three sets.
A hw/matk set with good cast speed for farming, a resist or negate set for tanking bosses, and a poison set to farm low level bosses and high hp mobs(my poison dmg is 370k atm in my poison set).
Matk set I recommend is:
Tellas 2 gerust Fluency
Struggler 3 Fred Fluency
FAW dunk 2 fluency
Any ava fluency
Skr argria Fluency (or any other slot spec)
Use Al that focus cast speed and matk. Your skill delay is capped if you use dex in your build.
Poison set is:
Alcran III seele
Theif garb III seele
Blume gift seele
Any slot spec seele
Al with poison dmg up(magonza from anaveristy event when they decide to give it to us)
Resist set:
Genius(not sure on crystal) rate cut abi
Boo iniliba rate cut 2
Sieger iniliba rate cut 5
Ava with rate cut 4
Mq spec iniliba rate cut 3
(Cant remember name of spec)
Al focusing hp melee/magic resist and rate cut
Negate set:
Genius fredrico rate cut 5
Schwermer or dragon mail 3 bg cordal(or other autoskill crystal) autoskill 2 abi
Blue Epaulette or ensis shield (ensis up does more counter dmg) with pole or roudolf autoskill 5
Any ava with autoskill 4
Gaiety ring spec jahoel autoskill 3(or anything else to raise autoskill)

I do prefer the negate set over the resist set because as long as your tanking the negate set will heal you, but there are some bosses that the resist set is just better. Then again I've seen other bosses where the resist had trouble keeping up too and the extra Heals from the negate set made a big difference (at least for an alchemist) both are very good and very expensive (3b+). So I say pick one and go with it!
