Ahoy Folks^^ i was thinkin of makin a DPS sniper for buff n all. Its gonna be chillin at the back most of the time. i know ive to max dex/crt but i was thinkin bout agi, with how much agi will i ve max aspd.
And bout equips n xtals:
Armor: please mention best armor for it that adds up atk
Bow: Captain Bow or Diabolos. please tell me which one is better and their stats please. i heard diabolos is better then captain for dps.
Additional: I just ve no idea bout additional
Special: I'll use archer golve until i get max aspd n will switch to thimble when max

What exactly do you want your Sniper to specialize in? Skill Delay? Damage? Auto attacking?

survivability n damage.. i prefer more eva so as to run to main quest boss floor at ease n more damage to assist ma ninja..

Survivability and Damage is a tough combo for a Sniper.
I really don't know too much about raising Eva. Since you did say that you'll be in the back most of the time. Just go for max DEX, CRT, and around about 120 AGI for a good amount of ASPD, but if you want as much EVA as possible, max AGI. For this next part, I'm not exactly sure and haven't properly tested. Having Max AGI work efficiently for Fast Shot. Fast Shot is basically like Berserk, you shoot twice as fast than usual. downfall is that you wont be able to move while the skill is active.
Some gears you can choose from depending on what you want.
Body
Schwartz: ATK:15, MaxHP-20%, Improved Critical
Exelis: (Will be a upgraded version soon at Pilaneza): ATK +3%, MATK +3%, Evasion +10%, Magic Resistance +12%, -1.5 Second Skill delay
D Mail (2nd upgrade will be available later in the game at Riokutobu): ATK+9%, MATK+10%, Critical Rate +15, Critical Damage +8%, Physical and Magic Resistance +6%, Absolute Accuracy +15%, Auto Skill Trigger +5%, Hidden: INT+10 (Hidden performance: defending, physical counterattack counterattack upon activation, disable the damage with a probability)
Bow
Diabolous: Crit Damage+10, Hate Rise-25%, Skill Delay +.5 sec, Attack +10%
Violaceum (2nd upgrade will be available at Pilaneza soon): Accuracy +8%, -1.4 second Skill delay, Hate Rise -25%
Moonlight: ATK +5%, Accuracy +5%, ASPD -100%, MP Cost -25%, Skill Delay -1 Second, Hidden: MATK -25%
Captain: MaxHP -10%, Critical up, Adds Autoskill +5% if DEX>199
Storm {Wing bow's 3rd upgrade name and will soon be available at Kakeura): DEX+15, ASPD +30%, Wing Element, CRT +10, Attacking with a probability of another attack 1.25 times
Additional
Schmuck: ATK:10, ATK+6%, 5% Damage Reflection, Critical Rate +5%
Wolf Ears: DEF:7, ATK:10, Hate +20%, Heal +600, Rate DMG Cut +17%, Skill Delay -0.6 seconds
Horn Helmet: ATK:5, VIT+5, ATK+3%, Critical ATK Value Increased by 15%
Ghost Ring: Not too sure about this one. I think it doubles the amount of your current EVA, but you lose a certain % of HP.
The stats of the equipment above are not the normal versions. It's the final upgrades of each. The sources with the information came from within the forum, so I would to say thanks to the contributors. There are more items that might be helpful, but those are the ones that I can think of for the different builds of the Sniper class/job.

Why not focus on agi and crit then dex? High survivability,if it means evasion use special bow is better for dps

High survivability,if it means evasion use special bow is better for dps This thread is 6 months old, and iirc the recent special bows Ameno uzume and Malica were not released yet, the only one available was Yumi which was from the setsuban(?) event and it was xtrade. So if you didn't have Yumi you couldn't go agi crit at the time just yet. Now you can. |
