Are people using production to level the quality of equipment (equipment that are worth 50m+) to Q15 or they just do super refining?
Also, let's say for example that I want to level up my alchemy to lvl up from 195 to 200. Are people just making angel ring then leveling the quality until it is destroyed or capped or they make other materials to level up their production?
Is it worth leveling the quality through production?

If you're alchemist and use succes sets you can try improving the quality of your gears. There's always the risk of losing them, though.
And if you want to lvl your alchemy 195-200, then I think the fastest route will be making Mioreita tp's.

For the first question, it can be both, some do quality refinement thru prod but there's a risk of losing the gear, while some does super refinement there's no risk of losing but its tedious and expensive.
Well if its alchemy theres no better material than producing tps to lvl it up the fastest way. Just keep producing Mioreita tps and you'll be at 200 in no time with fail set
Of course, its the cheaper than doing SR. But most new items aren't available on prod so you'll end up doing SR if you want to refine the quality of a newly released gear.

Adding to this ^ that if you want to improve the quality of your gear, you should wait for a production campaign (which didn't happen for quite some time now...) Bonus campaign (+20% success rate & -20% loss rate) + Bonus from success set + Bonus from Alchemist skill + Bonus of your stats (stat depends on the production) = very high refining rates... Of course it's still risky but that -20% loss rate from campaign helps a lot! |
