So, I was grinding with a friend on my alchemist and he said he doesnt see the poison on the target (yarde in this case). Is he just bugged?
If not, does alchemist's poison overwrites other alchemist's poison?
Am sorry for asking such a "nub" question

Hard to tell, never pt with another alche, you shouldve observe with yourselves let the pt mate cast first then you cast, you'll be able to tell, if it works like drain or just like any other ailment

I didn't test (should have...) but I think it works like Drain for the simple reason that during Raton border raid, my ailments are always doing damage and I never noticed them getting overridden |

That sounds so OP.(well, until they nerf our ailment dmg, that is :/) Actually I don't think that they are going to nerf ailment damage, from what I gathered it sounded like instead of lowering the ailments they would boost the damage from the skills like bloom blizzard, but that could have just been from bad translation that made it sound like that |

That "instead of" is better translated as "in exchange for". In exchange for lowering the ailment DMG, they'll increase the dmg of the other skills. |

From what I tested so far...
Others cannot see your ailment dmg in chat but they might be able to see them in play if they have party dmg on in settings(not sure) .
You can overwrite your own ailment dmg if you have another skill or passive that inflicts the same ailment(for example: Veleno Rosa poison by attack overwrites poison bomb or if you use a different level of the same skill)
Others players cannot overwrite your poison dmg. I tried with another alchemist and a sniper. We all saw our own poison dmg. Therefore, poison stacks.

Funny thing is most mobs are long dead before I can finish casting all four ailments alone. Lol...XD |

1) No one can see your ailments (except freeze, dizzy, and bleed?) also your DoT damage can't be seen (except that they can see the initial damage when inflicted).
2) Your ailments do not overwrite other's ailments
- Your poison doesn't overwrite sin/sniper's poison its seperate.
- Your burn doesn't overwrite nemesis burn, hw burn, enchant? (Don't hate me I just dont know if Enchanter inflict burn)
- Your bleed doesn't overwrite BK/Gladi'a bleed.
4)Lastly, Alchemist doesn't overwrite another alchemist.

Am now thinking of a boss-farming party where paladin tanks and 3 alchemist poisons then spams haze revita near the paladin You don't need a Paladin... 4 Alchemist with resist set and one of them spamming Haze Revita can't be killed even by Sauro 4... and when Smoke Bomb comes out you won't even need that spammer... just one Haze from time to time I can solo kill the Teachers in Academy event while tanking both of them even with their cheaty party field effect and their HP burn... and my haze cast is very slow :/ |
