I have a 265 bish with Int,dex, vit, greenline stats. Is this build good for alchemist? I also have lvl 1 prod on everything XD. I've already read some guides but i want some other tips from different alchemists out there. Thanks

Stats are good, but... with the new announcement from Asobimo about classes re-balancing stuff, I would wait until the changes are implemented in JP version at least before changing... we don't know what will change. But if you want to take the risk, go ahead even with Lv1 prod (technically it's Lv0) Alchy still does a lot of damage, and you only need to level Smithing (for Burn), Carpentry (For Bleeding) and Alchemy (For Poison). In the other hand, since EN version doesn't have the passive skills on/off settings, people tend to level their production first before turning to Alchemist, because Alchy has a passive skill that increases production success chances, which makes you use more materials to gain a production level, but the skill if very useful for leveling with refining. Conclusion, if you want to turn to Alchy, cap your Alchemy, turn into Alchy and then cap your Smithing and Carpentry (since leveling Smithing & Carpentry require a lot of refining, especially in higher levels)

xD well it is easier to lvl prod as an alchemist cause of the craft sense -- just prepare a fail set and ull be gaining lvls with fewer than necessary materials lost
for example -- alchemy -- u need light element here --so what i do is find gears that will deal pie to dark -- grim reaper forexample easy lvl alchemy from 20-41 xD and i barely finished even 1/3 of the mats i prepared

One question about grim reaper. Is grim reaper enough for fail set? Since it give no dmg to dark therefore any other equipment will be useless right?

so far it can only increase the difficulty by 1 lvl very easy - easy easy - normal normal- hard hard -very hard
since it only gives -100 percent dmg to dark and if im not mistaken every 10 percent adds 1 boost to fail or success

It's also possible that it will be very hard with both of them like it happened to you
