A few days ago, iruna suddenly wouldn't work on my home wifi but would work on every other network. I went through all my wifi settings and finally discovered that iruna doesn't like wifi channel 12 and 13 which may be legal in some countries while illegal in US/Canada and maybe some others.
To make sure your router doesn't use those two channels, go to 192.168.0.1 (or can be 192.168.1.1 )while connected to your home wifi and log in with username and password (default username as pass are both "admin"). Now go to wireless settings/wlan settings and set channel to anything except 12 or 13 then save and reboot.
If you want to fine tune your wifi channel, use one that is used less by other people around you. To check it, get the app "wifi analyzer" from playstore on your android device.

If you want to fine tune your wifi channel, use one that is used less by other people around you. To check it, get the app "wifi analyzer" from playstore on your android device. I think that I'll discard the channels feature because it will simply affect you quality of service (transmission/reception) although it would be wise to set it to one of the non-overlapping channels (1,6 or 11) so you share the same bandwidth with other hotspots nearby yours, rather than overlapping the signal thus creating noise and worsening the performance (provided you are on 2.4GHz) This case shouldn't happen on 5.0GHz by the way, but if so, selecting 36, 40, 44 or 48 channels (these channels don't have transmit power limitation) should address the issue. Now, taking Iruna as an isolated case and assuming that you use Android; this can be fixed by going to Settings>Apps>Iruna>Storage>Cache then Clear cache. This should erase any trace of partially downloaded resource or any data that was being used at the moment, and was corrupted by a sudden close (like hitting Home or Lock button instead of Menu>Log out>End app)
