so my never ending questions about monks are still continuing till this very date :3. But the more u ask the more smarter I get right? (or am I just the dumb one here? @.@). So just like the title is girouette a good option for a wep rather than using ceduro, d.claw, testament? The reason why i'm interested in this wep it's because of the triple damage chance that is similair to evil dog paws the upcomming claw that is somewhat similair but more op. Some questions I have for this wep is that in term of damage is this better than the other claws? is it worth the -30% magic resistance for the triple damage chance? if so what xtals/ai/abi that can nullify the magic resistance? can I stack an autoskill xtal and get the triple damage and xtal auto proc on this wep?(probably not but idk) last but not least how much does it cost?(cuz i'm not rich like u guys XD) btw if anyone have an ss of the wep it is much appreciated)

Well as far as nullifying the -magic resist just use aegis and youll be fine. The claw looks pretty solid and ill bet that if used against light element with something like ultimi reup or ira reup (the autoskill is good if you can take the -resist) and daijingo up it would be better than those other claws you mentioned

Would aegis really be enough to nullify the magic resistance?

Would aegis really be enough to nullify the magic resistance? Aegis lvl1 gives 30% magic resistance and lvl2 gives 40% so yes it would be enough as long as you don't attempt fighting any high magic damage mobs since even with canceling it out you'll still take a good amount of damage

Both give 20% magic R together and vatev gives 10 melee R), use Aegis and your claw mastery lvl 3 gives 15% magic R. Whatever combination you want to hit that 95% Use some VIT, maybe 100 and fight with a HCB. Maybe add an Irai ai (10 melee resist) or if you just want pure damage then go for dual sheild up (15 melee resist I think and an additional attack)

I'm not trying to be a very tanky player nor do I want to be a very high dps player I only want to be the guy who can do most of it but not the best of it. Iniliba is quite expensive tbh also the main reason why I choose d.mail re up is to get everything in one package that is somewhat affordable (auto, atk, survivability, crt damage) that is also the reason why I use hcb with cerberus that I will replace with raton when I have the money (auto, survivability, crt damage). My ai would be a mix of the same principles I used on my equips. As for the nail part before evil dog paws come out forsaking girouette is also ok as long as it fits in my equip principles. In short if there's an equip that gives insane amount of damage but gives a huge amount of negatives I would gladly nullify the negatives as long as I still can use hcb and d.mail re up but if I can deal more damage with a less powerful wep that doesn't give me a big drawback and ai/xtals that just only need to focus on adding my damage i rather pick that instead
