I thought of using int and vitamin for magic and physical defense then str/crit. Is that a bad one?

You would be trading your dps potential for mdef, matk and mp pool that you don't really need. Plus it will force youto use magic sword which is a very limited weapon choice.
If you wanted to be int vit crt berserker, be a paladin so you can maximize the trade off. Matk boosts your heal, mp pool if you wish to spam guardian when trying to get hate or just for spamming heal.
Mdef should just be a bonus rather than a build focus.

Get a Helshaft instead of Barbaro Axe and you'll do fine. Stuff your slots with Boss Colons if you can't afford better xtals yet (e.g. Plazuda, Magonza, Cerberus, Beelzenoid) |

But it's still one of the best, damage wise, for gladiator. ....I love you guys, too.... <.<;; |

And I'd stay do CRT>STR, but more or less try and keep 'em even. VIT keep it around 50s until max CRT and STR, then you can go more VIT or whatever you prefer. For swords, a majority use Red Tengu or Indra (thunder element). I dunno about needle users, sorry. ^-^" |

O.O Haha ty guys My gladiator is level 149 with 180 str, 50 vit and 230+ crt atm. Maxing crit first, as cross counter and astute rely on crit. Going to get barbarotita for additional (Atk+5%, Hit-25%, Skill Delay -0.5s). Shiroito and Dunkelheit are my main armors. I use hellshaft for my weapon. Prioritize maxing crit first, then strength. The amount of vit you use is dependant upon what makes you comfortable. Some people use 30 vit, some 50 vit, some 100 vit. Its what makes you feel best about survival. You also want to think about your Lv200 AoE move, Sword Tempest (wiki says lv 220), so dex will be needed, and maybe skill delay gears like exelis up, too. |
