OK, now we finally have software coming out that is capable with keeping up with the hardware to give us an awesome exp, we are seeing more advanced things starting to come out. But for now however, the main thing available to most people is just better versions of google cardboard which you just slap your phone in goggle whatsits (think Samsung's vr gear is the best of these atm.) and with magnifying glass whatsits you get a cool immersive experience for watching your favorite shows.
For me, I am aiming to have a new phone with a good screen and graphics and some really good earphones to really enjoy the exp, for next season when tales of zesteria returns as I think with those visuals, and also those awesome sound fx and tunes it would be really awesome. Also anything by Unlimited Budget Works would be awesome to watch. Idk what else yet but I would still need to look around.
Now what I am wondering is, what anime (or even live action I suppose) series or shows would you look forward to using these for?

Ooh I just remembered Gurren Lagann *^* Woo yah! All those options are good *-* (except dxd of course, not lying lol just there's no defenses when immersed in something with vr. ) The anime elitists talk down on danmachi as generic harem, but man! I'm a massive sucker for visuals and sound fx as well as a good ost. Though of course if the story and char Interactions aren't at least hlf decent then even those things won't save it *cough* absolute duo *cough cough*

Tales of Zestiria is full 3d but i think most animes use 2d textures that look 3d from just one angle

The headsets I said are simply goggles you insert your phone in the front of with binocular like magnifying glasses for immersive effect.

If not it becomes more of a headache. And I'm talking about the software in which those animations are rendered

HTC vive for the win They're only getting a bad idea because they are buying a product expecting it to be a proper vr experience when if they had done their research, they would find much of what they were hoping for is either not even released yet, or is way way out of their budget. No way hell no would you getting anything like vive for $150 which is around what the vrgear costs because it is a mid range headset which as I described is basically google cardboard with much more comfortable features.
