I just dunno.
Tried using a different account, different apk other than PlayStore, still crashing.
I'm figuring out it might be that the phone is Android 6.0, but I don't rly know.
The phone is Alcatel Flash Plus 2.0 (I think this was the name)

happend to me on lollipop 5.1 after select char always black screen, but 1 day got system updated and
then iruna worked.
Try update/downgrade ur android

Marshmallow never had that problem on my device, for lollipop , it was probably caused by the compulsory change to a new runtime(dalvik->ART) for Android. So its probably not the operating system's fault.
Well, all I can suggest is maybe try flashing a custom ROM?

Im having same problem it also keeps download resources everytime I get to title screen then when I finally make it to servers it says unable to connect to this server and close the game and when it does let me in server days downloading new rersources and close the game I'm not a phone wiz I got a Samsung prime not too long released cost 100$ at local walmart att store it usually runs find but today it got bad can anyone give me info I use 4g data to run game
