What kind of assassin would you like to be? Weapon preference? Common choices are claw or throwing.

If you want to follow flarius build, you can try adding 90 crit, add agi to 140 for max attack speed than max int. You will have to keep using nail till your throwing damage and nail damage was about the same. You can also just add 180 agi for eva than go int, you should still be able to max int by the time you get backstab (lvl 180)

It's not too late. You'll become a DPS Assassin. Don't follow Flarius build if you plan to eventually go BS build. Fyi, flarius left his old build on forums because he moved on to a new build *hint hint*. Start raising your int from now on til your throwing dmg is higher than your claw. Revolve your current build with gears and crystals that will help your evasion rise. Eventually, your stats and skills will support your evasion and you can switch to gears that will amplify your damage. Assassins don't have space in parties now adays especially if you're dps so prepare yourself for solo levelin'. If you don't plan to use a reset book but later want to change builds, i'd start over now. I personally believe DPS build has much more capabilities than BS assassin and i'm saying that as a BS assassin. Don't invest your character into a build until you fully grasp the idea and concept. I'm thinking of reverting back to DPS soon.

Adding too much in and not having enough dex will have heavy delay thus not putting out the spam effect people expect of a BS assassin. Having high int but not enough crt will have poor damage output since BS is based on atk an crt dmg whereas crt adds crt dmg and dbs chance. Having low int on the other hand will reduce base bs damage. There are other builds other than int dex crt. I'm not even using that build cause I just came from that build and see it's flaws especially for lower levels who want to try to turn BS assassin. My recommendation, let him find out what kind of Assassin he wants to be. The only reason why you are leaning towards BS assassin is because you're a BS assassin yourself. I actually think DPS class is more well rounded and effective in most cases.

Damage will come once you'll learned to properly rotate your skills to maximaze your evasion. Once int is max, go agi until you feel confident inyour evasion then max crt after. DPS/Autoatk have a more constant damage rate, although lower, but can survive on their own and farm things. Having yhe highest evasionrate in the game, almost any situation will be easy even against status ailments like stun. DPS/autoatk type doesn't rely on mp as much as BS type and can work with any situation. Bs build on the other hand is a party reliant build which deals massive damage but is set back with no defense mechanism except natural low evasion and low magic evasion. It has a low hp pool to work with and relies on constat mp'ing just to spam damage. Dying is common. TLDR; DPS/AutoAtk great survivalist good constant dmg and can work solo or pt BS massive damager but PIE survival skills and must be in a pt
