Thanks to the advice on the "Help With My Mage" thread, I am now a level 53 wizard and I'm up to the Kaiser quest. I'm stuck because all of the aggressive monsters in the Dragon Isle keep attacking me. That's why I want to reach level 70. What are some good places to grind? Currently I'm grinding Pulmos at Lede Salt lake (one map north or south of Saterica, I forgot). They give about 1100 exp per kill but it takes 3 fire lances to kill one and sometimes I die. I'm looking for a monster which gives me decent exp, and they have a small amount of hp like Pulmos. I have a warrior friend who has 2000 hp so she can help me block attacks for a while, but her provoke "doesn't work" (I think it's because I attract too much aggro) so that's why I need a monster with low hp. Sorry if I'm too picky

Flame Rockers in Scorched Tunnels maybe? Shouldn't be that hard to kill with Ice Spear (I think it's called?)
That's generally where people farm. Their damage isn't really that high either, plus they're super slow so you can kite them if you feel the need.
If you can find a group, try Dark Warriors in Dark Domain. Low level parties there will party a mage just for their heal in case they die if not for their damage.
Dark Soldiers (also in Dark Domain) have very low hp and give decent xp too, although I can't recall what the exact amount is.
Or you can farm the Kijimu outside of Sofya. Exp gain not that high, but you can almost always find a group, and the Flower Nectar they drop still sells very well. I should know, I just bought 30 stacks myself lol.

Sorry if I'm too picky If you can get up enough sd (is it sd or ct for fire lance?) go grind on porge in cave of wind, easy 1 shot for wiz and 900-1300exp depending on the floor and your fortune.

Sorry if I'm too picky Your friend should probably get provoke level 2 (lv 42 mucus in witch hunter wood) and level 3 ( exb 1812 in gulie pass level 5 aka eero island). As for levelling place 1) porges are good and easy. In level 3 cave of wind is a good place to level with porges 2) eero island. Exp from the wolf like robot is around 1k and easy to kill 3)kijimu in floating island. The harpies are good too but theres no plaoce that have a good crowd in the first level, second level is a bit too dangerous at your level. 4) merchant misery quest in sofya. The dedron drop broken staff which you can exchange 30 for 7500 exp. Thats where i grind on my first char (which is a wiz). Good luck

bravebor i think cast time would be more beneficial as one attracts aggro from start of the cast of spell. So if he casts fast then he can kill porges before they touch him(they touch my hunter pretty hard xD )also they have about 2.1 to 2.3 k hp

For lvl 60-70: 1.) Go to Sofya Capital, take the East exit. Grind Dredon for as much Broken Staff Stacks. Then enter Sofya again, take the North Exit (then take East enterance which will be a hall, keep going and you will enter a room where the NPC is). This NPC gives the Broken Staff side quest. You dont need to frequently take that quest since it's all about the amount of Broken staff you have (so I just farm Broken staff until bag full and spam the side quest to turn in all the broken staff for quest exp.).
2.) You can also take on additional side quest you can pick up from the Merchant in the Sofya Capital pub. Sadly, this quest revolves around Dredon mob kill amount instead of drop amount so you will have to constantly return to the npc to return the quest and re up the quest (that is if you want exp. for killing Dredon mobs). To be honest, it was too much of a hassle to return and rep this quest constantly after the supposed amount of kill (plus it's not much quest exp.)... so what I did was I only picked up this quest before starting to grind broken staff and return the quest once the bag was full of broken staff (since I had to enter Sofya anyway to exchange the B.Staff for quest exp.) and revisit that pub npc to turn in the quest and re-que the quest (since I will head back out to grind b.staff once I exchange it all for quest exp.).
I did this for my Mage (from lvl 60 to 70). The Dredon mob was easy for a squishy mage since they didn't deal much dmg. Plus once you unlock drain, you can simply slap drain on the flower mob that's next to Dredon to fill up my HP etc. (Instead of having to sit down etc.). But, it was a looping grind In my opinion. If I got bored, I went to farm Kimiji (South East exit fro Sofya) in hopes for Rose Ring S drop (which is pretty damn rare, but it kept me in sync... something to look up for).
P.S. -You will occasionally get [log] drop from Dredon. Keep these since it will come useful when you do production (or you can sell it to someone. USally those that grind Dredon are doing so for the lvl 60-70 grind or for the logs so...).
Also, being in a Party will help you get the Broken Staff quicker (vs. doing it solo).
This is about it. Let me know of you have any questions about this. You might find better way to grind to get to lvl 70 (others have mentioned other good viable way to grind while getting decent drops you can sell (i.e. Dark Warrior drops those consumable Large potion-like item which supposedly is useful and sought after by many ppl).
Depending on your lvl and your dmg output, you will have better result going for lesser lvl mob that you can kill quicker (even though they might have less exp. per kill) v.s. going for a mob that's higher lvl with more exp.per kill since it will take longer. (For example, killing a lower lvl Mob A which gives you 200 exp. per kill (with one shot or two) will be better than say a higher lvl Mob B which nets you 500 exp. per kill but requires 5 shots to kill = You can kill 5 Mob A (1,000 exp since 1 kill is 200 exp) then killing 1 Mob B (which nets you 500 exp. But red 5 shots to kill). This means you can get literally twice the exp. killing Mob A than killing Mob B. This is just purely an example, but you can apply to it with the mobs by finding out their per. kill exp. And the rate/amount of attacks to kill one etc.
What is you lvl now?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm level 55 now (I don't play much nowadays because of exams). I've tried the dredron but I want to ask: does the dredron quest give more exp or does the coatl quest (kill 30 coatls) give more exp? Also, I gave my friend the Provoke book a while ago, but she says it still doesn't work. She's pretty sure she adjusted the shortcuts too. Currently I'm killing Pulmos because I find that Gelatin is a good pet food (I got a free Brosch because the item shop gave some away for free) and Gelatin sells for 90 Spina each. I also have a paralytic venom which is 2000 Spina if I sell it to the NPC. At this level is it ok if I try to challenge medusas? I saw a video on it so I know where to go, but I don't know if Medusas will kill me because maybe my Mdef isn't enough.
P.S. This is just an extra question (I don't want to create another thread). I had a solo guild which I levelled to level 9. Then my friends wanted to join so I invited them. Now they want to get a guild storage and a guild portal so I told them to grind more monsters. Approximately how much guild exp is needed for guilds to level up? At level 9 I think it takes at least 100,000exp because me killing 5 Pulmos didn't change the green meter much, but I'm not quite sure.

I think the Dredon was more catered for casters due to thier slow speed (you can kite them) etc. Not sure how the exp. is between Dredon and Coatl since I did not do the Coatl. As for Medusa, I did it between the lvl of 70-80. I am not certain if you can grind them at lvl 55 (even as lvl 70, I had to watch out for the other sword mobs near by). And drain skill is a must have unless you got tons of potions to spam. And the guild? No clue. I never owned one so...
