It keeps telling me I need to update but my game is already the most recent version help

Go to your file manager app, find Iruna folder and make a copy(to backup your map files)
Go to app manager, clear cache + clear data, reboot your device. This should fix the issue.

Crysta| is right. Asobimo put up a notice that if this happens even after updating, clear data and reboot. That should do it, but so that you do not lose maps and stuff, make a backup
