So my iPhone 5c can't backup
I've tried to many times and it keeps failing
I haven't backed up in months
So if something were to happen to my phone, would I just lose my character forever?

I was having trouble with the backup too (mine is an ipad2). For a long time I was just hoping nothing would happen to it until i could figure out how to stop getting the backup error.
Then someday i just stopped getting the notification of lack of backup and checking it just now i saw that there was a recent automatic backup today. Unfortunately i dont know what caused nor what solved it.
I hope yours get fixed too.

I think I'm fine
I can't back up on computer but after a good 15 minutes on google I learned I could backup in settings, and it worked
Just seems too good to be true but it may just be my trust issues, I don't wanna lose this account I've spent so much time and money on

I lost my account for a few months last year, and was save by my icloud backup. But, there are other programs to backup iphone data, specifically app data. I did it with moborobo i think it was called just to be extra safe.
