The Use of SH, The Reasons Behind It and Confession(s?)

Hello, Lurker here.
This is going to be a long one (I mean novel level, I started to type this at 12pm CT and didn't finish until now) so get comfy. I'll provide a tl;dr at the bottom of the post for those who just want the gist of what I'm talking about but I really recommend you to read all of this. This is going to be an overall synopsis of my former sh/botting use and such. The majority of the reasons are pretty selfish but a few will show another problem Iruna Online has now.
Some of you wanted to see support/pride in the use of these tools, well I can't give you that much any longer as I don't support the use of sh/botting tools for reasons I'll explain below. I however, can give you my reasons why I supported it during my usage. Oh also Anti-Sh forum members, if you choose to you can PM me any flames you want to send my way. I rather this didn't get locked, I want this to be a peaceful thread where those who have previously used sh or botting tools (or even still do now) can post their confessions without any backlash because of it. That is one of the primary reasons the original thread failed, the overall feeling in it was too hostile, as if the one's you wanted to confess would be utterly spammed/flamed/ostracized into oblivion as soon as they did.

Unfortunately, threads like these will not work (or at the very least not without a catalyst.) There are quite a few of you who have already started topics like this but you lack one thing. None of you who have started these topics have been SH/Bot Users (or at the least not confirmed). I on the other hand, will be. Also once again, the air in the threads are too toxic to get anything done. Hopefully I'll get it right this time around (though I doubt it.) Anyway, I'd like to start over and say...

I am an Iruna player just like you all. I've been playing since December 2012 and have 3 (active) accounts that will not be going anywhere after this post (and of course neither am I unless I get banned for this.) My characters are (as of this post) :

I was a SH/Bot user from circa September 2013 until June 2014. I do not use SH/Botting tools any longer and have not used it since June 2014. In my personal opinion it shouldn't be too surprising that I have used SH/Bots in the past with a forum name like "Lurker" though. I know the problems/dangers of it and stopped using it because of it, though to be honest I only stopped botting because it was boring and pretty pointless.
The primary reason of my use was because I was weak (these reasons are not excuses but truths.) By September 2013 I was roughly lvl 90 or so with ◆K.Cloud with a Sauro Staff ns, M.Garb ns, Pieny Wings and Fishscale Bangle. I felt so powerless at the time not being able to fight off even the mobs at Guile's Pass for long periods of time without constant sit downs and the MQ wasn't even an option for me. AOG wasn't much of an option any longer since the main Iruna population had already moved passed that part of their leveling cycles (I'm pretty sure Naga's were around by that point.) so I was a bit stuck doing the Medusa quest at Saterica.
I remember that one day while looking on the old Iruna forum someone kept explaining that they constantly see botters at Rokoko Windhole. That got my gears rolling and long story short I got lucky (or unlucky in some points of views) enough to talk to a botter and they told me the apps they used. Soon enough after my levels started soaring. Eventually some time in early 2014 an anon in game told me about SH, what it was and how to get it. I was golden, I started getting spina and levels like crazy. It was amazing at the time.
Then I remember checking this forum sometime later to look at the infamous SH thread that nearly destroyed the forum. I learned a lot from it and started to wane from SH and botting until I completely stopped using it all together by June 2014.
The secondary reason was mostly because of my ignorance of the consequences that were applied because of my use. When I think of myself I think small. I'm only one person, what can I really do; what can I really effect on a large scale?
I think I had a bit more to say but forgot it in the span of time it took me to type this. The reasons don't really matter too much in the end but was there to at least convey how a soon-to-be SH/Botting user feels before and during their usage. As a pessimist I don't expect to be given a "good job" or a "all is forgiven." I don't expect many others to confess in this thread. I expect to be ostracized, flamed and ignored. Please prove me wrong Irunians, a very small part of me wants you guys to make that change but I just don't see it happening.
