Read title... If you use the forums and use SH go ahead and confess here, we know who you are already so just come clean before your posted in the SH list thread that Ryu started. How many threads on this do you have? Speedhack will not stop unless Iruna is shut down, or it's removed from the app store of the most common device that's using such programmes. (Which, avoiding any actual labelling, seems to be mainly based off the Android users. But doing such a thing will result in a huge loss of income.)
Just let Asobimo deal with the issue themselves; if you have any input, email them. Don't make multiple threads on a forum about the same thing. Giving out names of speedhack users will do nothing - yes, they will be known, but nothing will be done about it.
Ryu asked if it was ideal to name and shame people, seemingly some kind of attack on said users. I'm not entirely sure if it's being done or not, but I have a strong doubt that it will be done.
Accusing every player who attacks at a fast rate is wrong. As someone stated above, it could be Interfike. It could also be Scarlet Ribbon, it could be autoskill proc, Rush, bonuses from equips. You have NO LEGITIMATE proof of ANYONE using speedhack unless the user has admitted to doing so or you waste your day looking at other users.
Speedhacking in Iruna is exactly the same as scamming. Never happened when the game was launched, one person started to do it and it escalated from there. There are few ways of stopping it and 1 or 2 ways of doing so without losing a large amount of income.
All I can say is; deal with it. If someone is sh'ing at a grind spot you go to commonly, find an alternative. Ignore those people and get on with your game. If you're more concerned about people being at risk of a ban than the enjoyment of your own gameplay, you need to re-evaluate your choices. Just enjoy the game and stop whining about this issue; it will never have a fairy tale ending.

The main point here just as with what I referenced before, is to raise awareness. The only reason there are so many sh in game is only because there are so many cowards and hypocrites who refuse to speak out against it, who shrug their shoulders and say "it's some1 else's problem" the only reason sh is so prevalent is because we have aloud it to be so by not speaking out against it thereby leading new players to simply think it's an accepted thing. Gimme more players like crystal like lacs like asteg of course like me  to make a noise and refuse to trade, to raid or to pt with sh users or botters and it WILL make a difference. In 2 days I shut down 5 rooms about sh. It's easy to pick the nubs who are after sh just because they think its the accepted thing and simply because they just don't know enough about the game. Some of them were asking to buy lvl service from sh, I've jumped in and begin to explain that without sh they can still lvl and kill really quick, that some bs assassins I know are a crap load faster than many sh, I explain about how much exp per block of time some hw I know get, then they say ty for the info, close gc and go off to look at what I talked about. There was 1 wanted to buy sh coz said they wanted to run faster, I explained these maps in comparison to some other games by asobimo such as Izanagi are actually quite small. Again, after explaining things to new player, gc closed. Some selling it barely understand the basics of the English language...these ppl I just simply abuse the crap out of (especially when I smell nub there) till they either close gc ( I do succeed in doing this sometimes) or till I get kicked, then I switch through alts to continue to harass them, especially if it's sh lvl serve their selling, I continue to go in and say how bs assa can 1 hit megas so as to drive away new players looking to pay for that and think about more honest methods. Now of course there's no guarantee that these players will stay the course, BUT if the sentiment against use of sh was stronger and more visible I can certainly assure you it WOULD result in a markable reduction in the use of it which in itself would make the environment of the game far healthier and more enjoyable to play in. And guess what, I've 45+ names I've still yet to send in to ryu to put up on the sh list ALL FROM GC, and I'm pretty certain, majority of time when you know the signs, sh use is easy to pick, all of a sudden game is lagging like crazy and some1 has just so happened to have just started killing at an incredible spewed, coincidence? I think not! Hahahah well ok, explain how does your fike or scarlet ribbon make you do this: Talkig specifically at 0:55. The lowest skill delay for any skill is 1s, so how does this person use them faster? Sh looks pretty obvious when you see one Based on the examples I had stated, you would assume I was aiming at autoattack, not skills. |

What's bringing about this topic again?
I understand that SH/Botting is a really big problem and one that should be addressed but wouldn't it be better to discuss this on another website?
Also maybe I'm just a pessimist but I feel that this thread won't really amount to much in the end, mostly because we just don't have the power to do much.
Yes we can report them, though that just caused Asobimo to make Iruna allergic to root apps that are used before opening up the Iruna app.
Yes we can stop trading/raiding/associating with them (IMO this is a kin to segregation) but there isn't much stopping them from associating with themselves instead.
Yes we can make a thread that shames and exposes them but there isn't too much stopping them from just using different alts for certain things (especially if they don't get banned.)
Idk...I don't see much hope in this but I wish you guys good luck, I'll be sitting on the sidelines rooting for you.

I made 2 threads (guess it could be combined into 1) this one is specifically for forum users that also SH, and I do have solid proof of them using it. I'm trying to get them to admit to it before I send my evidence to Ryu so he can make it public. The other thread is for people to speak up and say they will refuse to pt/trade/guild/raid with confirmed SH. |

But I refuse to let them get in the way of my free time when I play Iruna - isn't exactly a hard thing to do.
Open your eyes a face the fact that there is very little Asobimo can do, let alone a group of people on a forum, toward removing speedhack. They up their security, a new sh comes out and it's working. The cycle repeats. If you can remove speedhack WHILE keeping Iruna as active as it is now, then congratulations to you all. I know of many people who despise speedhackers, but they refuse to let that get in the way of their game time. Because it's not worth wasting your time on. Just like this entire subject.
You will NOT remove speedhackers WITHOUT half the playerbase being removed or a shutdown. The entire thing is the same as scamming.. It can't be stopped once it becomes a common thing.
I'm done wasting my time here. Like above, quit wasting your time on the slightest ray of hope that something will be done and get on with playing. Asobimo are trying their hardest to remove this issue without losing their playerbase or income. If you have suggestions, don't throw it on an UNOFFICIAL forum and email them.

Please let's keep our tempers in check. It took a long time for us to be able to discuss this matter without it ending as a kid fight. Let's not devolve into that. Most(?) of us don't like SH, but it's no reason to start name calling, accusations and such. I would comment more on the matter, but sorting through all these posts gave me a slight headache, so I'll respond to what some of you have said (about what we can or can't do to "stop" SH) later. |

These people do have brains and they also have the balls(figuratively not litterally for all) and the motivation to take a stand against sh users yes its possible it will get nowhere but there is a higher chance of success if u make the effort than if u sit and do absolutely nothing about it I hate speedhackers, too. But I refuse to let them get in the way of my free time when I play Iruna - isn't exactly a hard thing to do.
Open your eyes a face the fact that there is very little Asobimo can do, let alone a group of people on a forum, toward removing speedhack. They up their security, a new sh comes out and it's working. The cycle repeats. If you can remove speedhack WHILE keeping Iruna as active as it is now, then congratulations to you all. I know of many people who despise speedhackers, but they refuse to let that get in the way of their game time. Because it's not worth wasting your time on. Just like this entire subject.
You will NOT remove speedhackers WITHOUT half the playerbase being removed or a shutdown. The entire thing is the same as scamming.. It can't be stopped once it becomes a common thing.
I'm done wasting my time here. Like above, quit wasting your time on the slightest ray of hope that something will be done and get on with playing. Asobimo are trying their hardest to remove this issue without losing their playerbase or income. If you have suggestions, don't throw it on an UNOFFICIAL forum and email them.
Doing something, or at least attempting to, sure as hell feels a hell of a lot better than doing nothing. If I simply throw my hands in the air and go "y bother? It won't do anything" then I may as well switch games and jump back over to Izanagi which at least the last time I was there, was missing many of the problems in iruna and toram. Lol even begging, there's no point over there coz most of the time ppl keep the chat box hidden which you can. Yes we may seem to be clutching at straws, but in doing so we give ourselves reasons to stay in this game we enjoy so much. My time is only limited here, so I would like to do what I can & enjoy it as best I can. |
