What I did was full dex for damage, and skill points in the hp boost skill. Now my hp is around 1,5k, not that high, but high enough to take some hits.

For 1 hand dex and str both give 2 points, for 2 hand str gives 3 points and dex 1 point

For One handed sword Dex is only recommended because it gives hit for reliable damage. Where Str gives you the same damage with a point of attack speed every couple of incriments. You'll be getting both by the time we can max 2 stats regardless.
Astute users do note that regardless of build you get a solid 25% chance to crit, making either build viable.
On skills, most people say to at least get Astute maxed for the damage. Get itband get Charge if you feel you need it. The next step would be to get the first sword passive to 5, then the second to 5, and the final one to 10. Get HP boost after that and you should be golden on the bare bones. I'm not sure what is optimal after that.

If u decide to go the route with out charge skill trigger slash increases mp atk regen and is useful in boss fights with out waiting to recharge and take DMG

Well the full des build is very helpful guys I have another question about the build now that I have my stats in place I would like to get my gear in order what would be the best set up for that and for the gear would I run heavy or light? The best weapons and armor you'll be able to obtain are likely from crafting. I'm it to sure how good the stats of crafted Brutal Dragon Gear is right now though. Sword - Brutal Dragon Sword. Nuff said. As someone who uses no magic you can use parts to craft blacksmith ones till perfect/slotted or get a sword skith to make one. Really don't know how good they are player crafter though. Sub Slot - Dagger or Caravan Dagger. Your other choice is any Magic Tool. Dagger gives some Eva though. Or Power Knife for it's atk passives. Or save money and leave it empty. No real downsides on either choice. Armor- Brutal Dragon Armor or Wolf Garb. Light Versions for now. Brutal Dragon Armor is the more defensive of the two with the dropped version giving you +100 hp, +10% aspd, +2% physical resist, and +2 Critical damage. The blacksmith version has +300 hp and halved everything else. Wolf Garb Dropped version is the more offensive of the 2 with it's added +4 crit rate and it's 200 aspd. It's a hard pick because I could see Wolf Garb winning out in the damage department due to superior attack speed and slightly more crit rate. While Dragon Armor with 25% crit rate from astute and +2% damage is strong in itself. I don't think it'll overturn Wolf Hunter Garb for now, but it probably will in the future. Or get someone to craft an armor with dex, dex%, aspd. Additional Gear - Crystal Earrings, Brutal Dragon Crown, Dog Ears, or Belt Pouch. Crystal Earrings for 300 mp or Brutal Dragon Crown for +5 atk, mp rec +3. Those are your main ones. Dog Ears and Pouch for stability to bypass guards, but until stability is tested you can hold off on getting these. Please do not be that DPS that got a Brutal Dragon Cape and ignores the +10% aggro for whatever reason. Accessories - Sofy's Talisman Sofy's Talisman is from the Main Story Quest after defeating Brutal Dragon Decel. 300 mp goes a long way. Recommend you get Eerie Xtal as well to couple with it.

Well right now I have both dropped and smithed wolf garbs I have both smithed and dropped dragon swords as well I was told to run magicians ring but if that needs to be changed I will I have dog ears equipped but have yet to get the dragon crown unfortunately but will still be trying to get it and I'm not a high enough lvl to beat silver roar for the earring but was looking into that my self are there any set ups involving the magicians ring cuz I really like the big mp boost even though there's the dmg reductio? Also I plan on doing full dex and str build in the future would the same light type armor be good for that as well or heavy for that instead and thank you guys for the help it's very much appreciated

As people have said above, full dex. is a good starting point until more lvls and stat points Skills wise it can be worth considering the passive in combat mp regen and maybe hp one in survival tree. Trigger slash is also worth thinking about, it can do some nice dmg along with the increased mp regen in combat. Stick it in a combo as the last skill with consecutive to reduce that 300mp cost on it alot. Sword mastery lvl10 i think is also worth it. I have got some very odd increases in atk at each lvl of this skill. +1atk lvl1 and 2, +3atk lvl3, +1atk lvl4 ...+7atk lvl10. I dunno if its lvl dependent, weapon dependent or just surposed to be like that. But it is a nice boost to damage. If you can up your mp to drop the magicians ring and replace it with muscle talisman s or dex. version (i forget the name) will help do more damage. A light version boss wolf garb i believe gives more aspd currently than a light boss dragon armour. But that +2% crit damage is nice on the dragon armour. A custom smith armour can give the biggest damage boost available now.
