Now I know most people have been curious about making a dagger build, which is why I need help constructing a build which is suitable for future reference and for newer players, I myself find the whole idea of daggers sort of mixed, it doesn't quite specify what dagger damage is based on, STR? AGI? CRT? Or even weapon damage. The subject of dagger damage is abit clouded so I need some light on this situation of what makes the ideal dagger build because I have been wanting to have a dagger build for some time now, but I have been afraid of making the wrong build since there's no way of resetting stat points apart from the book (which I've already used). I will make a build guide once I have acquired valid and helpful information on what affects dagger damage. Thank you to all in advance Dagger Build ...

Dagger skill damage is based completely off of your attack. Knuckles,staffs,and 1 hand swords are the only weapons that you can use dagger skills with. The dagger throw skill when maxed cost no mana to use but does not work with mp regen per attack. I have tested this build with all 3 of the weapons listed above and it fails miserably. The damage just isn't there enough to make it viable, at least not right now. Perhaps future updates will change that

That is disappointing to hear, I was convinced I could make a build out of it, it maybe viable when the next update comes, thanks for the info

I was thinking that it might not be the dagger's first move which is its key moves,maybe it's the status ailments and poison DPS it can bring,can anyone confirm my theory?

I started a char using staff (bcuz the +3 atk per str) and jus dagger skill tree. Since the throwin knife skill cost 0mp at lv 10 u can do autoatk>throwing knife to make dmg like if u had max asp o.o
With bouwguns (4 atk per dex) u could do the same with more range and abusing spike knifes to slow enemies. Is a bunny build and good for solo o.o
I've noticed too that using daggers ur crt dmg goes up, so a good build could be adding ur main weapon stat and some crt.

I have also noticed the damage increase after using daggers almost like my auto attack damage had doubled at some point. To be honest I use daggers with my 1h sword dps build and also my brawler dagger build. Mixing the dagger skills with the brawler skills seems very easy like to start from range do sonic wave- spike daggers- poison dagger as one combo then up close smash-poison dagger-sonic wave they whole combo is very quick and does a good deal of damage while slowing and poisoning and causing flinches. Personally I think they make a great addition to 1h builds also crossbows you can throw the free dagger between auto attacks usually to add damage. To me daggers work well.
