so, soon the min requirement will be iOS 5.1. I'm still not upgrading mine yet. I want to confirm the step so that I will not losing my character upon updating iOS. - plug the device on pc
- open itunes
- back up device(?), should I put password or not?
- update OS on device
- restore back up-ed data from pc
- install iruna
- enjoy playing?
Anyone have experience on this matter?

Your steps looks about right; make sure to do an iCloud back up too if you haven't already.
Good luck!
(No, I don't have this issue but I play and switch accounts using iCloud backup as I have not yet figured out how to have multiple & different iTunes back up with the same device lol)
