when i lvl up ill ss both before and after, I've noticed my matk get higher every lvl PRIOR to adding points Shouldn't the other stats increase as well, Dex affects Matk & Cspd, thus if leveling up does increase your Matk, then Cspd would increase per level as well. i don't pay attention to cspd, i use nemesis so i just worry about sd thats all cspd has no affect for me

I've never experienced this on my high wiz, after Int & dex were max (level 168) the only time I've seen Matk increase is from a new equip or xtal, is it a skill that does this or what am I missing? every level you receive a bonus to each stat, including int and dex, matk based off int and dex so if you get each lv 1 int for example you'll get those points of matk, all classes get a boost to stats every lvl, which is why some ninjas find it hard to clone after a certain lv That must be a bug. Only HW get MATK bonus per level because they have rod mastery. If my pally gets a VIT per level, I could pump nearly 300k HP by now, whereas I just hit 200k HP in reality. But then again, most 1VIT toons would probably have more than 30k base HP at level cap.

Could you provide evidence of this? As far as I know the only stats that go up per lvl are: Max Hp, Max Mp, Eva & Hit. This explains why some ninja report it being hard to clone after a certain level. Why would the High Wizard's Rod Mastery skill be the only one to scale up with character level? If all weapon mastery skills behave this way, my Sniper would gain Atk bonuses from Bow Mastery, which from what I've experienced it does not. when i lvl up ill ss both before and after, I've noticed my matk get higher every lvl PRIOR to adding pointsWhat class are you? If you are a High Wizard or App High Wizard then Rod Mastery will increase your MATK every level.

As far as I know the only stats that go up per lvl are: Max Hp, Max Mp, Eva & Hit. This explains why some ninja report it being hard to clone after a certain level. You only get a boost to Hit and EVA when you level. The amount of HP you get is determined by VIT and level. VIT from your stats is of less value than VIT from Equips and Skills/Passive bonuses. INT from equips/skills is also calculated like VIT from equips/skills and gives a bonus based on your level. INT from stats is a flat 4 MP increase each point. Everyone has passive INT and VIT from switching jobs, some just have more than others. EX) Knights and Clerics get higher VIT bonuses than everyone else, same with Samurai. Bishops, Wizards, and Ninjas get really high INT bonuses. Hunters get low amounts of both(like a boss). Some classes also get flat HP bonuses from skills and % HP bonuses as well(mostly Clerics). High Wizard's Rod Mastery skill just increases MATK based on level on top of an MATK % bonus increase. Hence why they have ridiculously high MATK values at higher levels. Why would the High Wizard's Rod Mastery skill be the only one to scale up with character level? If all weapon mastery skills behave this way, my Sniper would gain Atk % bonuses from Bow Mastery as it levels up, which from what I've experienced it does not. It's just the only one that does. It's probably to make up for other stuff. For one, High Wizards just get level 1 in all of their big spells. Another thing is that Magic classes get severely punished by MDEF, this is to make up for it on High Wizard which is the main Magic DPS class at the moment so they actually need the extra MATK. My understanding is that the passive has a % MATK component to it, and then gives an increase to base MATK based on level. Also almost all of the masteries have something different about them besides just a flat ATK increase. Ninjas get both ATK and MATK with throwing, Samurai drop down to lowest ASPD and get 100% Crit damage, Monks get Magic res and +1 Range, Snipers get +2 range if I remember correctly, Glads get hit rate and a lot of ATK, and Enchanters make Magic Weapons give MATK like Staff and Throwing.

I leveled my hwiz last night and MATK went up 1 point, that's probably why I never noticed before, the increase is very small.
