I know that upper ninja and samurai rat can drop it, but it is not that easy to get it from them...

None. You must farm from Upper Ninja or plant it if you want fast.

None. You must farm from Upper Ninja or plant it if you want fast. Also Uncommon (though fairly easy, I think) the rat samurais also drop rice.

Hah, thanks. I Didn't know that there is a tier of uncommons, lol. Like I said, was only posting what I have personally experienced. Remember our convo re: broken scythes? Were those tertiary? Coz they dropped harder than the gems from bpahomets.

Huh... that would explain things then. I just assumed some things are just more pita than others, lol (maybe we need a different name... common, uncommon, pita, rare ) Hmm how about rares, do they differ too? Like I'm farming Ganei, and so far, cumulative (3 devices, hours and hours) have gotten 8 kodachi and 1 cryta. Would also explain why I have Literally NPCed dozens of How to Heal 3 (Never farmed it specifically, just killed roarmeria when farming ents) and Never seen chrysta, Ever

Crystas are usually (always?) the last thing on the drop list making it a super hard drop (4th maybe 5th on the drop list).

I always thought there were only 3 categories (common, uncommon, rare). Do you know if JP addresses this? Curious what they call the hard uncommon and I guess ultra rare?

I'm not sure if they give names to the drop categories. I guess it would also depend on the mob, some 2nd drops are easier than others, you just need to look at Dark Warrior. Revita L is the second drop but it's as common as the 1st drop, while other 2nd drops are definitely uncommon.
