I do what seems fair and logical. What you do not understand is that there is no more need to leveling methods/guides like this. That's Your Opinion. I know, and thank you for respecting It.

what do you have after you've done the main quest? just wait around for weeks to get a lvl? also, having people do the main quest for you is not "doing the main quest". mq shouldn't be considered to be the main leveling tool. I tell you, I do Megas. It seems that you have not understood me, I do not criticize the appearance of leveling after Level 140, just the "Novice Leveling" level 1 to ~140 which seems completely obsolete now. notice the word novice means new. this is for people new to the game that don't know where to go or what to do. if you only do mq till 140 you end up with: a) no experience about the game, the mobs, or how the combat system works. b) absolutely no money unless you get the 1:100000 chance of a rare drop in 1 boss run. c) no friends, acquaintances, etc. d) people will most of the times see you as a mq beggar, a mq rusher, and will neglect you. lvl 140 with ns gear is worse than a low level fully geared.

I understand why you are saying a guide for leveling from 1-140 is obsolete. It really isn't though. While main quest is the fastest way obviously, it isn't always available. What will people do then? They will have no idea if everyone just says grinding at low levels is obsolete. This is still a very useful guide for people who don't want to be beggars until 140 and have no idea what they are doing at that point. It really isn't about people challenging themselves to level without MQ either. It's about them actually learning what to do and how to play their character as they level(play style changes from advances excluded sort of). It's also about them actually playing after they are done with main quest. So many people just beg for main quest to level 140 and quit because they have no idea what they are doing and are used to leveling every 15 minutes or so.

Yes I understand your main argument, I also agree with this idea. However, I advise you start the main quests from level 50. So your game experience will not be as null and the first main quests will be easier to do;) Not to start it at 70 [...] 140, however it is a real waste of time. For what is the point on the gear, I want to say that the Rokoko economy is really bad... and that times are hard for everyone. Who tells us that even a Newbie making a leveling 1 to ~70/100 etc.. is very well equipped, with just leveling on monsters like Flame rockers or Dark warriors, compared to someone who rush the main quests. After all, Rokoko is crazy today

V, what Senpai said is correct, this is information for New Players. What you suggest is great for people who have played before, but for new players all this does is create a new breed of high level newbies; players who don't know how to use their own character and ask questions that anyone who actually went through the game probably would know. If you want to make a "How to level super fast via mq" guide - go ahead, but this thread is getting off topic, the topic being Novice Leveling (Not Main Questing, Not Leeching, Not Power Leveling).

Yes I understand that point of view and I agree, as I said above. Regarding the "Main quests guide", it is not such a bad idea after all.. shame that this is impossible : should make a video without interruption of a person who rush all the Mq.. but I still takes the idea note and I thank you for your attention and this informative discussion I (unfortunately) generated.

I have a lvl 72 strength/agility knight, is there any good way to lvl him besides the dark manor monsters? I also have a lvl 92 wizard so i have a good idea of whats coming up and it just seems like the next section of the game doesnt have any feasable methods for someone without magic defence.

You might try the quest from Inje, to kill 50 (?) moles. I believe it's L50 quest. There's a couple of quest from Kleya too that would be appropriate. Honestly though, at those levels, I found DWs to be best xp/hour. No turn ins, no running, just kill kill kill. You make money from selling revL too

Noticed the guide and have to agree. Its pretty handy to have. However I do haveva question. Pally can't really do much more solo than neks and the like solo. So it makes picking and choosing the most effective grind rather difficult all around for pure tank builds. What would you reccomend? Tigris can be done, but are slow solo due to the need to pull out and sit after every five batches or so, neks get so clumped that if you don't pull away after a couple kills and start thinning the herd, you will be there for 20mins pot burning to kill off everyying your guardian hits. And I haven't really tried bosses for exp lately. Ticket user, but I haven't tinkerer beyond Mega parties (which morons are now trying to demand 180 for) or neko's/enter. Any advice?

A little leveling tips from meh v.v
1-10 :(adventurer) Kill colon , brosch , kijimu , etc ( prefered kijimu ) and if you willing to do a small quest, there is a small quest at bailune , talk to the syntensis , choose monster eating herb , kill 99 brosch to gain 990 XP , won't take long since u kill em 1 hit, still kijimu prefered
Level 10-20 ( app warrior and app mage ): Just stick with the spider after rokoko mining , kijimu still good though
Lvl 20-30 ( warrior ) : Kill skeleton at forgoten cave ^.^ easiest way to lvl up
Lvl 20-30 ( mage ) : Kill the floating eyes at forgoten cave as well , near the skeleton
Lvl 30 - 40 - 50 (mage and warrior ) : Forgotten cave : 4800 exp and revita M by killing 30 skeleton ! ( skeleton exp : 200 exp on solo )
By doing this quest you gain some spina , if you have a quite lot spina , people sell broken staff stack, the price is 13k, don't buy for 15k, they are greedy ! The broken staff a.k.a b.staff Are for a quest named :
Improptu arrow : Collect 30 broken staff (7500 exp and 1000 spina)
By wasting 13k spina u gain 22k exp and 3k spina. That means 22k for 10k spina !
Prefered forgoten cave for it distance and total exp.
40-50 (mage or warrior) : You can do above or grind this monster :
Kijimu at sofya skin for spina , why ? Bcuz you will wanna get equip before reach 50. Ppl might said u newb if u don't have proper equip for lvl 50 .-.
Their loot sell quite a lot, and they drop rose ring , if u get a slotted you gain 10m spina ^.^ though , good luck farming it , took a lot of farming .
Wihout mq I manage to be lvl 50 in mere 5 days ^.^ without main quest
Btw , prefered to do your main quest now ^.^ you will get to 70 and be a full 2nd tier job ! Gratz
Mob to farm for level 50 app wizard : Dark soldier
Why ? App wiz can kill them a hit and you gain 700 exp . The best way to level up!
Well this are a newb leveling guide .-. Not so good but it details all of it !

oh, so the medusa quest in saterica r for wizards only? i see... :c Well, no but only wiz line will benefit the most due to high MDEF and high DPS with FireLance/2 and above. Even with equally high MDEF for Cleric, And faster casting/cooldown, it still took 2-3x as Long to kill a medusa. IIRC, even a L100 Cleric w Holy Light still took longer than a L70 wiz w FireLance2.
