Fastest way is mining. I usely mine near port spargas for my mythril if I need it fast. 10 stack of axes usely get me 2 stacks. I mine from that rock near the right side near the exit to garel.

Mining really is the fastest way to get mythril. I usually mine near simcracker 10 stacks of pickaxe turns to 3-4 stacks of Mythril, but if you can't use Mythril ore other places might be better. Hmm... I Know A Fast Mythril Drop From Mob Outside Slebinia (After Bleudraf MQ) Otw To Dark Woods Witch With A Little Leaf... With Many Dirt Area not Inside The Forest...I Hope This help!
