To maximise the raw potential of claws with enchanter you would need agl, crit, str these three alone will give you the highest damage out put for you claws but in all fairness doing that will cost a lot of points and tbh you need the int bit and dex to there not snuff points to do str int bit agl dex & CRT coz in essence that what you would need for claws. I thought the cane enchanter was crap tbh syrein made me open my eyes to it before I was a sword user through and through cane/sword user all the way ftw!

Its all to the user for innovation on game play style. What ur pointing out is the essence of damage priority, but im more looking out for tanking than damage. Sure, claws are redundant at this point in terms of damage, but if we do predict that power enhancement improves str and crt from dex, then vit agi dex enchantys using claws will possibly get both tankness and damagey.

At the end of the day go with what ever build you want this is only my preference I've tried claw enchanter abit I didn't like it I'm probably not the best person to talk about that build tbh i was just stating what I knew of my experience with that style of enchant..

IMO, enchanters are most flexible In weapon choices. The only key stats are agi and Int + any weapon with autoskill (sword, claw, throw, cane, bow, whatever). you dont even have to +9 your weapon unless Its a cane.

int agi str claw enchanter is completely fine if your main focus is not dealing the highest damage. you can have like 4k ATK if you're that rich but how high will that deal without double attack passive or weapon mastery.
btw, cane enchanters often either built wrongly or equipped wrongly so its not surprising if some say cane enchanters are not comparable.

Claw is mediocre to me the name is s y e r i n. not s y r e i n to avoid confusion because there's someone in game with that name and that's not me.

My favourite class is high wizzard because this job can heal mp n can drain which really usefull for hp (less pot i mean) n can cast ailments stats like frozen etc which helpful, supports other class damage (like assassins), although depends on hp for heal mp. But i solved that with vit build n hp gear set. N i not really hate soloing cuz wizzard can't solo strong boss but cuz with party is better faster efficient.
Hw pros for me is : dmg average to high, can heal n mp heal, cast ailments status, useful in pt in many situations, useful variations of elements (mobs or boss weakness),
Hw cons for me : depends on gear+xtal+stats, expensive gears n xtals x.x, depends remagic or bless (some situations like mp depleted), survivability normal to low, tired for healing others mp xD (especially spammer bs or ar)
N good pt for hw in many conditions is bishop, pally, n others dps
Correct me if im wrong please xD
Im HW lv203 Ign ChrisWar

Lol that's how I feel truthfully. I'm a fan of a "Jack-of-all-trades-Master-of-none". I'm wanting to go Nail Enchanter. I like being about to dole out physical and magical damage, as well as being able to take some punishment. And all else, aid and support my allies. I like to be able to do a little bit of everything. After all, there is no "best" class or setup. It's all just doing what you like to do ---- SPELLBLADE FTW!! every class has its own pros and cons Paladin Pro : Great decent dmg tanker Con : bad soloer Ninja Pro: great to tank/solo Con: Bad side effects will eat u up. ninja also make great damage, and the only stats really eat ninja is stun...
