So I love healer/support class. Trying to figure out which would be more to my liking. I do like as a bishop I can get a party all thr time, but it seems like I always tank. Just wanted to see a comparison between the 2 Bishop and Minstrel is a very different class, and have different Role. Bishop has a nickname 'Immortal Tanker' it's because their skill and survival ability .. But that's not their main Role, their survival ability stands to able to regenerate all the party wounds and giving a lot of damage with full bishop skill such as Nemesis and for Minstrel their main role for making the battle goes smoothly .. Their song power able to give many kind of additional stats such as increasing cast speed, Max Hp, ASPD, Crit Rate, Eva, and even drop Rate. They can attack too with bow from a long distance and hit with Song of Dragon Gin (Jp Translate) for Pty range attack. So to sum it all, it's more like Healing power Vs Buff Power. depends on your liking

there actually kind of the same minstrels can be very diverce it just depends on the build since they will work with ANY build type yes ANY build they can heal a pt if built that way they have some amazing buffs but they burn threw mp very fast and have long cool down times bishop they can tank or heal and they have some nice buffs as well but bishops have way more solo capabilty than a minstrel does by miles and people will want a bishop over a minstrel 95% of the time but there both very fun me personally have a minstrel both on jp and eng I love them there tons of fun just hard to solo with

[The Following 5 posts above have been merged with this thread]
Since these posts relates to the 2 classes. I merged it with this thread. You may be talking about only bishop and minstrel so far, but this relates discussing and comparing.

Ill go with Bishop, because they are practically immortal. Resurrect mixed with high VIT and INT means you take a small amount of damage and heal a lot more than you just took.

Ive never heard bishops as the immortal tankers XD maybe enchanters since they have drain and iron skin and mp recharge. Something the bishops lacks

Monks have passive auto revive when you reached 160 based on skills list. I can't wait for that skill~ XD
I kinda wish we have a skill like drain for hp. My heal isn't enough even if I use RevL for survival on bosses. ._.

tilt Have you ever used a wizard?? Drain never fails lmao only time drain will EVER fail is when you die while using drain. Which is called exhaustion. In enhanters case they have iron skin which makes them virtually a steel wall to bosses. So being that they have that, plus drain plus mp recharge... They are the tanks of iruna the "immortal tankers" let's see a Bishop solo plazuda or any other boss that completely depletes mp XD

Well, Bishops can heal themselves fast and efficiently, Wizards cannot without HP Pots Wizards can give themselves MP via a skill, Bishops cannot via a skill, but can with MP Pots All in all I wouldn't compare any classes because each one has something that makes them better than another and something that makes them not as good as others

ive played a wizard before and my drain has failed multiple times, even when it works and i die/revive then ill have to cast it again and casting it takes forever especially with a sowrd., my bishop dies and heals instantly back to around 25% hp with ressurect and keeps any effects on itself.
the mp restore from a wiz kills yourself and ironicly you need mp to use it, where if bishop and wiz loose all mp and dont have pots then a bishop may still recover mp if it used bless before it got depleted.
an enchanter wont heal as fast or as much as a bishop, which comes in handy since i have a lightning fast attack/heal combo that i can do 2-3 times while enchanter with a sword casts one drain.
either way like kam said both have there advantages. in a fast pased fight and in a fight where the boss can instant kill me ill choose bishop, in a slower fight with more effects to have to fight against ill choose enchanter.
p.s. i also saw thay enchanter at 170 soloing like a million bosses, still pretty awesome
